You know, I'd forgotten that I've been looking forward to this movie for months. I'd forgotten that I cared when they cast it, I'd forgotten that each newly released publicity photo sent a pleasant little chill down my spine.

( This isn't a review but I don't know what else to call it )

lol i was reading this and went, "WTF KREACHER WAS IN THE HUNGER GAMES HOW DID I MISS THAT" idk i need help. i can't believe they didn't include peeta losing a leg... anyway, i always thought peeta was supposed to be super awkward (you said it best, he probably collects vials of his tears of unrequited love) and we're meant to root for him because lbr so are we?
i haven't watched it yet, i'm planning to go with my dad bc he's a hxc fan, but omg Jen have you see all the shit racist fucks are saying about rue being black?

but what i really want to know is...
did they make any bread jokes?

omg all the rue drama is like, morbidly hilarious. The one girl who was like, "I can't believe they tricked me into caring about a black character" IT'S LIKE PEOPLE DON'T EXAMINE THE THINGS THAT THEY SAY.

yeah that's probably why peeta has fans. we all superimpose our own issues and shit onto the characters we like, I THINK THAT'S WHY I IDENTIFY WITH BUFFALO BILL FROM SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. HE JUST WANTED TO BE LOVED!

lol what kind of bread jokes? I feel like I'm missing an entendre. There weren't many jokes at all. Effie was comic relief and she was pretty fab ngl

lol it's just that whenever there is a hunger games post it's always making fun of peeta and bread, like if his dad had been a social media marketer instead of a baker his name would have been tweeta, and stuff like this and this.

tbh i actually hate elizabeth banks and i can't even remember why...

yeah there is some blatant but like, self-excusing racism out there. I find it sort of fascinating, the ways people justify their hatred. Idk, whenever I try to like WRITE racism for a character or something it always just sounds really artificial. This is the only reason I still go to reddit.

I get choked the fuck up at movies and TV shows anymore too and I used to be one of those people that were like "CRYING IS FOR FUCKING BABIES, I MUST SUPPRESS EVERY EMOTION THAT ISN'T HAPPINESS OR RAGE AND FUCKING DEAL WITH IT" but like I choked up watching a Hunger Games trailer, I choke up at fucking Harry Potter movies it's like anything that is in any ways meant to play with my emotions TOTALLY FUCKING WORKS and I hate it.

Yeah I don't know, I noticed an onslaught of these stupid emotions when I turned 18, which also coincided with starting to take birth control... so I think my body has just had a spike of estrogen ever since that makes me bawl like a big fat baby that got it's bowl of ice cream taken away.

or what is the baker's daughters name again? maybe the merchants in district 12 don't have earthy names because they are associated with the proletariats. so i looked it up... what is a "madge" in the botanical sense? IF WE KNEW PEETA AND KATNISS' PARENTS (well just katniss' mom) NAMES THIS COULD MAKE SENSE!!! also i think she got lazy with names because annie? what does that have to do with aquatic shit?
