The page looks good. I really need to start reading up more on CSS. I know how to use it in style tags and in the header of a page, but as far as making actual layouts with it, I have very little clue what i'm doing.

I use the O'Reilly books, no affiliation with the other O'Reilly. They are really great and super helpful.

I'm a fan of O'Reilly books as well. They're expensive sometimes, but I think it's worth the money to have a good, well written, reference book.

It's not too hard. As far as the LJ customize thing, go to howto and look in the memories section. If you have some basic knowledge of CSS you'll be fine.
