15 August 2010 (aka Cruelest Day of My Life)
Not f-locking this entry, as it contains a report of Hey! Say! JUMP's 2010 Summary concert.
So our new hostel isn’t as nice as the first one. For one thing, the signs say “Please be quiet after 11 pm.” People started to make noises...AFTER 11 pm. When I was trying to sleep. WTF?! And the AC sounded like a train running on its tracks...unless it really was a train running on its tracks. Either way, loud and disturbing >_>;;;
I had a terrible nightmare. What happened? Oh, only that I woke up, looked at my cellphone to check the time, and saw it was 12:10. Now, I had changed the settings of my phone to “Asian times” so 1:00 pm would be read as 13:00 and 12 am would read as 0:00, thus, the moment I saw 12:10, I knew it was 12:10 pm, even as I tried to deny it. I jumped out of bed (never mind I was on the top bunk) and Jen was like, “It barely started, we can make it.” Uhh...no we can’t. @_@;; *goes into panic before waking up in bed*
OMFG WHUT TIME IS IT?! Oh, wait...a dream. THANK YOU GODS, THANK YOU. I swear, my heart was pounding with fear, and I started to get a stomache >_>;; I hate dreams like that.
Went out to get breakfast at 9-ish, got back to hostel half an hour later, and headed off to JCB, with PLENTY of time to kill. I returned to the goodies sale for the third time to get a Yabu photoset (I know a girl in Taiwan who’s his fan; when she heard that I was going to SUMMARY, she asked me to get Yabu’s number xD) and a tote bag, simply b/c I saw too many fans walking around flashing their tote bags. Johnny-san knows his psychology =-=
Jen got her pamphlet, poster, and clearfile today, as well as a tote bag. We headed out with nearly an hour to kill until they would let us into JCB hall and sat down next to a pillar to rest and fan ourselves with uchiwas. Ryutaro was very helpful in cooling me down xDDD
Feeling bored, I stared around at other fans and saw one person with a Hikaru uchiwa fanning herself very fast and very furiously. I felt bad for the poor uchiwa; it was getting abused xD Finally, the staff/security people called for us to line up and kept repeating over and over, “It opens at 11. Please do not take pictures or video record” at least five times while we stood in line. O.o;;;
11 hit at last, and we started to file into JCB. First, we had to go through a camera check, which was really some security staff half-heartedly digging through our bags and asking if we had any cameras. I just said no, and they waved us through to the ticket check and we were finally in!
Warning: somewhat Ryutaro biased, and a bit of angsting on the writer’s part over the cruelty of that 15 year old =-=
Oh my god, the best two hours of my life, I swear xD We got to JCB super early and already there were a bunch of fangirls milling about. Waiting took forever, but the atmosphere was full of excitement, I couldn’t even read my book.
Then finally, the doors opened and we could go in. They gave us 3D glasses on the way in, but we only used them at the very beginning. As we were waiting, Jen and I got bored so we started looking around for fanboys. Saw two in the section to our left, and they were pretty cute looking too. Also thought the security staff responsible for our area was cute too XDD
We were sitting on the second balcony, second row, center four (so a little to the right of the direct center), seats 82 and 83, which were closer to the right edge and yet still not there exactly, but not smack in the middle either. And yes, as I’ve read from other reports, the balcony railing (even if they were for safety reasons) got in the way of our pleasure viewing...though not as much as the Chinen fans in front of us. More complaining on them later on. What really caught me off guard was the fact that they had voice overs in Mandarin and English right before the concert began; just saying stuff like, no smoking, don’t wave uchiwa’s to distract other people (which apparently fell on death ears on the girls in front of us) While waiting for 12 to hit, they were just playing the JUMP No. 1 album, and suddenly, the lights went out, and everyone just screamed their lungs out.
So first was the member introduction in 3D and it was so cute and hilarious. I can’t remember the order that they went in, but I know Inoo was imitating Kung-Fu Panda and trying to snatch a bun thingy away...using chopsticks. Then Chinen was in Spain and waving one of those red flags to piss off a bull, which then went after him and ate him up xD Yama-chan, I only remember his ending, which was having his face surrounded by hearts in a heart shape and blowing us a kiss, at which point, the audience just exploded.
Takaki was in...Alaska/somewhere very cold, and was stuck in an ice berg that was being chipped away by penguins. Daiki ended up in Africa and fell backwards in a very cute way when a lion roared at him. Then the lion started to chase him around in circles, and cuz it was in 3D, Dai-chan reached out to the audience going, “Save meee~”
Ryutaro’s was so lame, it was cute xD He was trying to be a cowboy in the wild west (I love that outfit!) and trying to dodge bullets in slow mo, it made me go WTF XDDD Ended with him shooting a bullet at us (which might have reached my heart) Yabu was the last one, he was playing soccer, and as he kicked the ball out, his shirt flew so his stomach was revealed XD Reading other fan reports, I remembered that Yuuto was a chef cooking for a dolphin (really WTF) and Hikaru was in Australia, with a kangaroo, and his heart randomly popped out of his chest. And yeah, Keito was in England, playing his guitar, and throwing a pick out at us, and it had some English on it, which may or may not have been ‘I love you.’
At this point, everything becomes jumbled up in my mind, because even looking at the set list, I can’t remember what moments went with which song, but I’ll try my best. Nakaken and Fuma were making introductions (I remember cuz I was screaming Nakaken’s name) and Summary began. During Summary, Yamada, Chinen, and Daiki came out first, and eventually everyone else came up. The Chinen fans sitting in the front row became very excited. At some point, they did get his attention, as they became very bouncy, squealy, flaily, and happy. Lesson learned: want JUMP’s attention? Travel with a group of the same member fans xD
The juniors on stage with JUMP helped attach them to the wires so they could fly up in that oh-so-familiar circle. Can’t remember much here, since I was still getting over being overwhelmed (and trying to find Ryutaro). Think he was holding hands with Keito and Inoo (and there was so much Keito and Inoo moments with Ryutaro throughout the whole thing)
After that, Yuuto went on his drums, and a while later, the rest of JUMP came out on Japanese drums. It two people sharing one drum, and the only pair I remember clearly is Yamada and Ryutaro (I have my bias xD) At some points, one of the pair would fall to the ground on their back (which made great OTP moments). Mostly it was BEST doing this though.
I think it was around here that the sword fighting began. It was 7 vs BEST, and I freaking loved it when all the swords clashed (I have a thing about the sound of metal against metal). At some point, Ryutaro and Takaki had climbed into one of those moving balconies and were moving towards one another right in front of us to clash swords. It. Was. So. Awesome. Since it was the first time that I got to see Ryutaro up close (and hence scream even more).
A little after that, I think 7 started to bully Daiki (Yuuto was definitely one of them) and the little chibi ran off to defeat the dragon that appeared out of nowhere. I love that dragon, since it went around the entire area, and brought Dai-chan (who was clinging onto it desperately for his life) reeeeaaally close to us. When that happened, Yamada appeared on another balcony out of nowhere and started to taunt him, I think. Eventually, Takaki and Yabu joined forces and slashed the dragon down with their imitation light sabers.
When they performed Time, the most prominent memory I have is a bunch of flashing lights. For Dreamer (?), Yabu and Chinen went acapella and it was so coool~ Finally, Daiki came up in a cute, pink outfit once the song was over to introduce the dogs.
OMG, the dogs were adoraaable~ I kept flailing when I saw them come out holding their dogs in their arms <3 All of them introduced their dogs individually, and had them do some sort of trick. Takaki went first and shot his dog “dead.” Also, Takaki’s country was some sort of Eskimo country, so that was exactly what he was wearing: an Eskimo outfit. As soon as he came out, my first thought was, “Damn, Takaki must be hot in that.”
Ryutaro and his dog came next, and here I fail as a fangirl, cuz I don’t remember whut trick his dog did OTL I think...it had something to do with shaking hand/paw? At one point, Ryutaro’s dog was wandering off somewhere else, so Ryutaro had to lunge after him and drag him back. After that, he kept a hand on his dog (yesh I was staring at him mostly) Yamada came out with his dog and made him talk (aka bark a few times). Yuuto had his dog go scurry, scurry across the floor, and afterwards, proceeded to ignore the rest of the group’s performance since he was too busy playing with his dog XD
Oh mai god, Chinen was so cute, he was carrying his dog out to the center of stage to do the trick, and that really surprised me, since I was under the impression that Chii didn’t like animals. Chinen’s dog went up on its hind legs and he led him in a little dance. Hikaru had his dog climb onto his leg, so it was clinging on desperately xD Yabu’s trick was so ‘kyaaaah~’ He had his dog chuu him (or was it the other way around?) but it was absolutely hilarious, since he held up his dog and was like “After Summary, we’re getting married!” with an OoO face that was just adorable. Keito’s dog is the only one whose name I remember (Rascal) and I started screaming cuz Keito was talking to the dog the whole time in English. He was like, “Okay, Rasc, you have to be good, you’re performing right now,” and it’s like, OMFG HIS BRITISH ACCENT <3333333
Once everyone had finished introducing themselves and their dogs, three of them stepped up (I only remember Yuuto and Chinen) to jump rope individually with their dogs. Then an even longer jump rope appeared, with Inoo at one end and Takaki at the other. They send about five dogs in, and for some odd reason, all the dogs congregated at Takaki’s end. For a moment, I thought they wouldn’t be able to complete 10 jumps since the dogs were so close to Takaki. After that, the rest of JUMP were teasing Inoo, who was left alone. The poor boy had an expression that said, “Where’s the love? ;_;” XDD
The dogs finished jump roping, so three JUMP members came in (I only remember Ryutaro was one of them) plus Inoo’s dog (I think) and it was hilarious because Takaki was using his entire body to swing the rope while Inoo was simply standing there, holding the rope and doing pretty much nothing XD Then I think Yuuto brought his dog up to the front of the stage and placed him on a giant soccer ball to go around an obstacle course. Poor Yuuto, the dog went awry half way through and knocked down one of the tall pins T_T Yuuto was still nice enough to ruffle his dog ‘Good job’ though. I love that boy; not a shred of grudge in his bones.
After that, every member brought their dog up to the front of the stage, to do that trick where one dog is placed in a circle, another on top of the circle and the rest of the dogs followed behind on their hind legs. Poor Yama-chan was the only one standing around doing nothing and being useless XDD
Then Hikaru’s infamous juggling began and he was joined by Yuuto and Chinen. Poor Yuuto, he accidentally dropped one of his balls near the end of the performance T_T Seriously, Yuuto seems to have messed up at some point in nearly every report I’ve read now. That just makes him so much cuter XD The band performance of Your Seed was the hottest performance of that song that I’ve ever seen, much thanks to Keito. At first I couldn’t recognize him, because he had his hair tied up in a ponytail, but once I realized it was Keito, I couldn’t help squealing, since he looked so freaking hot. He needs to tie his hair up more.
Yama-chan came up and yesh, he performed Asia no Yoru, and yesh, he did indeed rip his shirt. His opening was great; he had a mask on, and dramatically took it off. Everyone began to scream, but Yamada put his finger up to his mouth to silence us, then blew a kiss (or something like that), which made screaming even louder than it originally would have been. My thoughts: that boy is learning how to manipulate girls waaaay too skillfully XDD While everyone else screamed and “kyaah-ed” I started laughing, mostly because Jen was getting so overly excited next to me xD I admit it, Yamada does have a very hot body.
Chinen had his little solo right after, and seriously, I think that boy has a thing for jumping into TV screens. Remember his Kawaii Kimi no Koto Damono performance in JUMP-ing Tour? There was a screen and he would jump in and out of it? He did the same thing again here, only he did it...a lot more. XD At one point, he stayed in the screen for a long time and elongated himself, so his head popped up the top (and this was one really huge screen too). Seriously, Chinen was being too cute here.
Yabu’s solo...made me fall in love with him. First off, his black hair. Thank the gods that color is back <3 Second, at the end of his solo, the awesome water sprayers totally drenched Yabu, and then he (very hotly) ripped his shirt, making us all scream.
Then Takaki’s solo dance thingy, backed up by Inoo and Hikaru. This bunch of juniors surrounded them with (fake) rifles, and started to “shoot” at them, but they expertly “dodged” the bullets. I found that amusing xD
Next, we headed off to Egypt and I freaking love the performance of Shinku because I actually got to see Ryutaro dance. It’s an opportunity that I’ll never be able to get otherwise, and seriously, the camera should focus on Ryutaro’s dancing more, cuz he looked so hot doing the chorus part of Shinku. It’s like, daaang, when did he learn to dance so well? O.o;; I envy those people on the first floor, because at one point, I saw Ryutaro go down the aisle and actually touched some people’s hands T_____________T
Daiki came up by himself again but was joined by some juniors (Snow Prince Gasshoudan minus Shintaro), who started to bully him about his height. What’s hilarious is the one bullying him is much, much smaller than him XDD Then a taxi came rolling up and it was driven by a dog XDDDDD Daiki tried to tell the dog his name was “Arioka Daiki” but the dog purposely messed it up (I don’t remember whut he called him though OTL) At the end of the “taxi ride”, the dog asked for a chuu as payment XDD
While driving the taxi, it was being followed by this line of juniors who were carrying mini obstacle courses. The rest of JUMP appeared then and I think Yuuto came out first and led his dog through the obstacle course. Someone came after Yuuto, followed by Ryutaro, and Chinen came last, but instead of letting his dog jump through the obstacle course, Chinen decided to jump through it himself, and it made me go whut the hecck? XDD What’s more, Chii gave up half way through, since he accidentally knocked down the obstacle course lmao XDDDD
The taxi apparently ended up in New York, so Yamachii were on stage and started to talk about NYC and how Yuma was in Osaka, so they start singing NYC with BI Shadow (NAKAKEN) and the PV playing on a TV screen in the background (which was quite distracting). At the “kiss me baby~” part, to my surprise, it was Yamada who made the move instead of Chinen O__O;;; Yamada just put his hands on Chinen’s shoulder and leaned in reeeaaally close, and needless to say, people kyaaaah-ed their happiness. XDDD
Juniors came up next and omfg, NAKAKEEEEEEN~ He started to half strip during a fight song or something and had his jacket down by his elbows, so he was flashing his extremely skinny frame and more extremely skinny arms XDDDDDD Around this time, one of the juniors was doing a monomane of Tackey and it was hilarious, because no one was expecting it and Yabu was like, “Nuu~ please, stop (the monomane)” XDDD
Once the juniors were over, Yabu was MC-ing on center stage and everyone else would appear at a random spot in the audience. Hikaru and Yuuto appeared somewhere on the third balcony (above my seat), Chinen was the first to appear on our balcony (the second one), and omfg Inoo was in our row! On the other side, but he was the closest one. He popped out of nowhere, but as soon as he started talking, everyone within his vicinity saw him, and just screamed “INOOOOOO~~!!!” It was hilarious, Inoo went up to fan close by (the edge seats darn it, the edge seats!!) and I forget his question, but first, the fan was so overly exicted, she squealed into the mic and Inoo went, “Wow, you’re really energetic” and asked another question. This time, the fan calmed down enough to answer, and said “I like Puri Puri Pretty Inoo-chan!” so Yabu jumped at this chance to order Inoo to do his Puri Puri Pretty. I was so happy, I love Puri Puri Pretty Inoo. Thank you, fan, thank you <33333 But I was torn, btwn watching the Inoo there close to me (but I could only see his side) and the one on screen (where I could see his front)
Yamada came next (I saw the fans dying there) and he actually took a seat next to one of them. He asked one of them ‘Who’s your favorite member?’ and of course, I was sorta expecting her to say “Yamada Ryosuke,” but she said “Dai-chan” instead. Oh mai god, the look on Yamada’s face and his reaction: priceless. It was like something terribly tragic happened to him, and Yabu was making fun of him, talking about how the girl was holding an uchiwa with Dai-chan’s name on it. Then Yabu made Yamada do a Puri Puri Pretty pose, and Yamada kept refusing at first, going, “It’s embarrassing~” but eventually caved in to the demand, and did “Puri Puri Pretty” (reluctantly) with a peace sign xDDD I kept crying “not fair, not fair” to Jen when Ryutaro appeared (on the first floor damn it!) so I couldn’t even see him T__T
Once everyone was introduced, Yabu launched into Thrill (cue the ‘kyaaa’) and did a BEST vs 7, with BEST performing Thrill and 7 performing Get! Everyone would appear at a random spot in the audience, and Hikaru was in the balcony next to us, holding a fanmade uchiwa with his name on it, it was so cute XD
Finally, everyone gathered at the center stage, and Yamada went up to one of the BEST members, aggressively asking, “Where’s Chinen?!” so I assumed BEST kidnapped Chinen or something. Then Yamada and Daiki did their tight rope walk, and it was one of the most nerve wracking moments. Right before Dai-chan started the long journey, everyone yelled, “Dai-chan ganbareee!!”
He took forever to get across but he finally made it successfully, so Yamada was up next, and his was even more nerve-wracking than Daiki. Half way through, Yamada paused and I thought he was losing his balance or something, but really, he was turning around to go backwards. That just made me go, oh my god, I can’t believe he’s going backwards. He nearly slipped too, which made everyone scream. Fortunately, he made it successfully, and began to taunt Daiki XDDDD
Then it was Chinen’s turn to do his amazing acrobatics. He did one practice swing, then got blind-folded and it would have been seriously awesome if he actually made it, but unfortunately, he fell T_T Though he looked really pissed off, bouncing on the net XD (Whut can I say?! He’s cute when he’s pissed lol)
The professionals went and did their performance, with Chinen watching from the ground (I assume they were showing him an example), then Chii climbed back up the ladder and this time, he was successful! >v<
Yabu came up afterwards and began to say his thanks to us, signalling the near end of the concert (I couldn’t believe it was nearly over, actually T_T) They sang, Thank You Bokutachi Kara Kimi E, and nearly everyone got a solo line. I started to flail in my seat when I heard Ryutaro sing XDDD I mean seriously, how often do we get to hear Ryutaro sing?!
I think it was during the encore when all of JUMP flew up to the second and third balconies. At first 7 was way on the other side, and BEST was the closest to us, so as BEST got closer, I started to scream out almost all their names. Hikaru turned around right when he got close, Takaki had his back to us the entire time, Daiki and Inoo were looking elsewhere, like at the third balcony, but Yabu was smiling at nearly everyone <33
Then they converged with 7 in the middle and stopped there for a while. The wires started to lower them down to the first balcony, so I thought 7 wasn’t actually coming over to us, but thankfully, the wires pulled them up to the second balcony again, and 7 started to come over.
Ryutaro was being cruel T_T I saw him waving at fans from the other side, but when he got to the side I was at, he stopped waving, even when he was looking at my general direction T__T I waving his uchiwa so hard too OTL And they got back to the ground and started to throw the balls, Ryutaro was being lazy and just throwing his balls at the fans on the first floor. Darn the expensive first floor seatsss T_______T
At one point, someone (Takaki?) threw his ball in our general direction, and we were all getting ready to catch it, but it bounced off the lights hanging above us and fell elsewhere T_T Some other random moments that I remember happening but I don’t remember when: Hikanoooo~ So either Hikaru or Inoo was standing on the first floor aisle, holding his arms out, and I see one of them run into the arm for a hug. Then, unexpectedly, Hikaru picks Inoo up, bridal style nonetheless and it was just such a great OTP moment XD Another point, Yamada was running towards the center of the stage (where Takaki was) and semi-glomped, sorta knee-ed the older boy for some odd reason. And I know I saw Ryutaro crash into Chinen while running across the stage too XDDDD And because BEST and 7 were fighting one another and I kept trying to find Ryutaro, I saw him run in to “punch” Daiki at one point LOL
And Ryutaro was getting his hair ruffled so much by Inoo (and Yabu at one point I think) it was so cuuuuute >w< Close to the end, when they were singing the encore, Inoo was over-ruffling his hair to the point Ryutaro finally whacked his hand off and randomly hugged himself, but it was just too cuute for me <333 Also, I think while they were singing Yuuki 100%, Keito and Ryutaro had their arms around each other’s shoulders, and started jumping up and down all happily, so that made me start bouncing in my seat for the first time all concert XDDD
What bothered me a lot throughout the whole concert was that in the row in front of me, there was these three Chinen fans whose uchiwa’s kept blocking my view, so I couldn’t see the stage (aka Ryutaro). I swear, I wanted to whack them at some points =-=
Finally, JUMP left the stage and the encore was over. Not like anyone was getting out of their seats though. The security staff had to usher us out of the hall XDDD So wanted Ryutaro’s attention (at least throw a wave or something!) and already planning to attend their (currently unannounced and nonexistent) fuyucon with Jen (if we can get the money) XD Whut can I say? JUMP in real life is addicting <3

Ryutaro’s was so lame, it was cute xD He was trying to be a cowboy in the wild west (I love that outfit!) and trying to dodge bullets in slow mo, it made me go WTF XDDD Ended with him shooting a bullet at us (which might have reached my heart) Yabu was the last one, he was playing soccer, and as he kicked the ball out, his shirt flew so his stomach was revealed XD Reading other fan reports, I remembered that Yuuto was a chef cooking for a dolphin (really WTF) and Hikaru was in Australia, with a kangaroo, and his heart randomly popped out of his chest. And yeah, Keito was in England, playing his guitar, and throwing a pick out at us, and it had some English on it, which may or may not have been ‘I love you.’
At this point, everything becomes jumbled up in my mind, because even looking at the set list, I can’t remember what moments went with which song, but I’ll try my best. Nakaken and Fuma were making introductions (I remember cuz I was screaming Nakaken’s name) and Summary began. During Summary, Yamada, Chinen, and Daiki came out first, and eventually everyone else came up. The Chinen fans sitting in the front row became very excited. At some point, they did get his attention, as they became very bouncy, squealy, flaily, and happy. Lesson learned: want JUMP’s attention? Travel with a group of the same member fans xD
The juniors on stage with JUMP helped attach them to the wires so they could fly up in that oh-so-familiar circle. Can’t remember much here, since I was still getting over being overwhelmed (and trying to find Ryutaro). Think he was holding hands with Keito and Inoo (and there was so much Keito and Inoo moments with Ryutaro throughout the whole thing)
After that, Yuuto went on his drums, and a while later, the rest of JUMP came out on Japanese drums. It two people sharing one drum, and the only pair I remember clearly is Yamada and Ryutaro (I have my bias xD) At some points, one of the pair would fall to the ground on their back (which made great OTP moments). Mostly it was BEST doing this though.
I think it was around here that the sword fighting began. It was 7 vs BEST, and I freaking loved it when all the swords clashed (I have a thing about the sound of metal against metal). At some point, Ryutaro and Takaki had climbed into one of those moving balconies and were moving towards one another right in front of us to clash swords. It. Was. So. Awesome. Since it was the first time that I got to see Ryutaro up close (and hence scream even more).
A little after that, I think 7 started to bully Daiki (Yuuto was definitely one of them) and the little chibi ran off to defeat the dragon that appeared out of nowhere. I love that dragon, since it went around the entire area, and brought Dai-chan (who was clinging onto it desperately for his life) reeeeaaally close to us. When that happened, Yamada appeared on another balcony out of nowhere and started to taunt him, I think. Eventually, Takaki and Yabu joined forces and slashed the dragon down with their imitation light sabers.
When they performed Time, the most prominent memory I have is a bunch of flashing lights. For Dreamer (?), Yabu and Chinen went acapella and it was so coool~ Finally, Daiki came up in a cute, pink outfit once the song was over to introduce the dogs.
OMG, the dogs were adoraaable~ I kept flailing when I saw them come out holding their dogs in their arms <3 All of them introduced their dogs individually, and had them do some sort of trick. Takaki went first and shot his dog “dead.” Also, Takaki’s country was some sort of Eskimo country, so that was exactly what he was wearing: an Eskimo outfit. As soon as he came out, my first thought was, “Damn, Takaki must be hot in that.”
Ryutaro and his dog came next, and here I fail as a fangirl, cuz I don’t remember whut trick his dog did OTL I think...it had something to do with shaking hand/paw? At one point, Ryutaro’s dog was wandering off somewhere else, so Ryutaro had to lunge after him and drag him back. After that, he kept a hand on his dog (yesh I was staring at him mostly) Yamada came out with his dog and made him talk (aka bark a few times). Yuuto had his dog go scurry, scurry across the floor, and afterwards, proceeded to ignore the rest of the group’s performance since he was too busy playing with his dog XD
Oh mai god, Chinen was so cute, he was carrying his dog out to the center of stage to do the trick, and that really surprised me, since I was under the impression that Chii didn’t like animals. Chinen’s dog went up on its hind legs and he led him in a little dance. Hikaru had his dog climb onto his leg, so it was clinging on desperately xD Yabu’s trick was so ‘kyaaaah~’ He had his dog chuu him (or was it the other way around?) but it was absolutely hilarious, since he held up his dog and was like “After Summary, we’re getting married!” with an OoO face that was just adorable. Keito’s dog is the only one whose name I remember (Rascal) and I started screaming cuz Keito was talking to the dog the whole time in English. He was like, “Okay, Rasc, you have to be good, you’re performing right now,” and it’s like, OMFG HIS BRITISH ACCENT <3333333
Once everyone had finished introducing themselves and their dogs, three of them stepped up (I only remember Yuuto and Chinen) to jump rope individually with their dogs. Then an even longer jump rope appeared, with Inoo at one end and Takaki at the other. They send about five dogs in, and for some odd reason, all the dogs congregated at Takaki’s end. For a moment, I thought they wouldn’t be able to complete 10 jumps since the dogs were so close to Takaki. After that, the rest of JUMP were teasing Inoo, who was left alone. The poor boy had an expression that said, “Where’s the love? ;_;” XDD
The dogs finished jump roping, so three JUMP members came in (I only remember Ryutaro was one of them) plus Inoo’s dog (I think) and it was hilarious because Takaki was using his entire body to swing the rope while Inoo was simply standing there, holding the rope and doing pretty much nothing XD Then I think Yuuto brought his dog up to the front of the stage and placed him on a giant soccer ball to go around an obstacle course. Poor Yuuto, the dog went awry half way through and knocked down one of the tall pins T_T Yuuto was still nice enough to ruffle his dog ‘Good job’ though. I love that boy; not a shred of grudge in his bones.
After that, every member brought their dog up to the front of the stage, to do that trick where one dog is placed in a circle, another on top of the circle and the rest of the dogs followed behind on their hind legs. Poor Yama-chan was the only one standing around doing nothing and being useless XDD
Then Hikaru’s infamous juggling began and he was joined by Yuuto and Chinen. Poor Yuuto, he accidentally dropped one of his balls near the end of the performance T_T Seriously, Yuuto seems to have messed up at some point in nearly every report I’ve read now. That just makes him so much cuter XD The band performance of Your Seed was the hottest performance of that song that I’ve ever seen, much thanks to Keito. At first I couldn’t recognize him, because he had his hair tied up in a ponytail, but once I realized it was Keito, I couldn’t help squealing, since he looked so freaking hot. He needs to tie his hair up more.
Yama-chan came up and yesh, he performed Asia no Yoru, and yesh, he did indeed rip his shirt. His opening was great; he had a mask on, and dramatically took it off. Everyone began to scream, but Yamada put his finger up to his mouth to silence us, then blew a kiss (or something like that), which made screaming even louder than it originally would have been. My thoughts: that boy is learning how to manipulate girls waaaay too skillfully XDD While everyone else screamed and “kyaah-ed” I started laughing, mostly because Jen was getting so overly excited next to me xD I admit it, Yamada does have a very hot body.
Chinen had his little solo right after, and seriously, I think that boy has a thing for jumping into TV screens. Remember his Kawaii Kimi no Koto Damono performance in JUMP-ing Tour? There was a screen and he would jump in and out of it? He did the same thing again here, only he did it...a lot more. XD At one point, he stayed in the screen for a long time and elongated himself, so his head popped up the top (and this was one really huge screen too). Seriously, Chinen was being too cute here.
Yabu’s solo...made me fall in love with him. First off, his black hair. Thank the gods that color is back <3 Second, at the end of his solo, the awesome water sprayers totally drenched Yabu, and then he (very hotly) ripped his shirt, making us all scream.
Then Takaki’s solo dance thingy, backed up by Inoo and Hikaru. This bunch of juniors surrounded them with (fake) rifles, and started to “shoot” at them, but they expertly “dodged” the bullets. I found that amusing xD
Next, we headed off to Egypt and I freaking love the performance of Shinku because I actually got to see Ryutaro dance. It’s an opportunity that I’ll never be able to get otherwise, and seriously, the camera should focus on Ryutaro’s dancing more, cuz he looked so hot doing the chorus part of Shinku. It’s like, daaang, when did he learn to dance so well? O.o;; I envy those people on the first floor, because at one point, I saw Ryutaro go down the aisle and actually touched some people’s hands T_____________T
Daiki came up by himself again but was joined by some juniors (Snow Prince Gasshoudan minus Shintaro), who started to bully him about his height. What’s hilarious is the one bullying him is much, much smaller than him XDD Then a taxi came rolling up and it was driven by a dog XDDDDD Daiki tried to tell the dog his name was “Arioka Daiki” but the dog purposely messed it up (I don’t remember whut he called him though OTL) At the end of the “taxi ride”, the dog asked for a chuu as payment XDD
While driving the taxi, it was being followed by this line of juniors who were carrying mini obstacle courses. The rest of JUMP appeared then and I think Yuuto came out first and led his dog through the obstacle course. Someone came after Yuuto, followed by Ryutaro, and Chinen came last, but instead of letting his dog jump through the obstacle course, Chinen decided to jump through it himself, and it made me go whut the hecck? XDD What’s more, Chii gave up half way through, since he accidentally knocked down the obstacle course lmao XDDDD
The taxi apparently ended up in New York, so Yamachii were on stage and started to talk about NYC and how Yuma was in Osaka, so they start singing NYC with BI Shadow (NAKAKEN) and the PV playing on a TV screen in the background (which was quite distracting). At the “kiss me baby~” part, to my surprise, it was Yamada who made the move instead of Chinen O__O;;; Yamada just put his hands on Chinen’s shoulder and leaned in reeeaaally close, and needless to say, people kyaaaah-ed their happiness. XDDD
Juniors came up next and omfg, NAKAKEEEEEEN~ He started to half strip during a fight song or something and had his jacket down by his elbows, so he was flashing his extremely skinny frame and more extremely skinny arms XDDDDDD Around this time, one of the juniors was doing a monomane of Tackey and it was hilarious, because no one was expecting it and Yabu was like, “Nuu~ please, stop (the monomane)” XDDD
Once the juniors were over, Yabu was MC-ing on center stage and everyone else would appear at a random spot in the audience. Hikaru and Yuuto appeared somewhere on the third balcony (above my seat), Chinen was the first to appear on our balcony (the second one), and omfg Inoo was in our row! On the other side, but he was the closest one. He popped out of nowhere, but as soon as he started talking, everyone within his vicinity saw him, and just screamed “INOOOOOO~~!!!” It was hilarious, Inoo went up to fan close by (the edge seats darn it, the edge seats!!) and I forget his question, but first, the fan was so overly exicted, she squealed into the mic and Inoo went, “Wow, you’re really energetic” and asked another question. This time, the fan calmed down enough to answer, and said “I like Puri Puri Pretty Inoo-chan!” so Yabu jumped at this chance to order Inoo to do his Puri Puri Pretty. I was so happy, I love Puri Puri Pretty Inoo. Thank you, fan, thank you <33333 But I was torn, btwn watching the Inoo there close to me (but I could only see his side) and the one on screen (where I could see his front)
Yamada came next (I saw the fans dying there) and he actually took a seat next to one of them. He asked one of them ‘Who’s your favorite member?’ and of course, I was sorta expecting her to say “Yamada Ryosuke,” but she said “Dai-chan” instead. Oh mai god, the look on Yamada’s face and his reaction: priceless. It was like something terribly tragic happened to him, and Yabu was making fun of him, talking about how the girl was holding an uchiwa with Dai-chan’s name on it. Then Yabu made Yamada do a Puri Puri Pretty pose, and Yamada kept refusing at first, going, “It’s embarrassing~” but eventually caved in to the demand, and did “Puri Puri Pretty” (reluctantly) with a peace sign xDDD I kept crying “not fair, not fair” to Jen when Ryutaro appeared (on the first floor damn it!) so I couldn’t even see him T__T
Once everyone was introduced, Yabu launched into Thrill (cue the ‘kyaaa’) and did a BEST vs 7, with BEST performing Thrill and 7 performing Get! Everyone would appear at a random spot in the audience, and Hikaru was in the balcony next to us, holding a fanmade uchiwa with his name on it, it was so cute XD
Finally, everyone gathered at the center stage, and Yamada went up to one of the BEST members, aggressively asking, “Where’s Chinen?!” so I assumed BEST kidnapped Chinen or something. Then Yamada and Daiki did their tight rope walk, and it was one of the most nerve wracking moments. Right before Dai-chan started the long journey, everyone yelled, “Dai-chan ganbareee!!”
He took forever to get across but he finally made it successfully, so Yamada was up next, and his was even more nerve-wracking than Daiki. Half way through, Yamada paused and I thought he was losing his balance or something, but really, he was turning around to go backwards. That just made me go, oh my god, I can’t believe he’s going backwards. He nearly slipped too, which made everyone scream. Fortunately, he made it successfully, and began to taunt Daiki XDDDD
Then it was Chinen’s turn to do his amazing acrobatics. He did one practice swing, then got blind-folded and it would have been seriously awesome if he actually made it, but unfortunately, he fell T_T Though he looked really pissed off, bouncing on the net XD (Whut can I say?! He’s cute when he’s pissed lol)
The professionals went and did their performance, with Chinen watching from the ground (I assume they were showing him an example), then Chii climbed back up the ladder and this time, he was successful! >v<
Yabu came up afterwards and began to say his thanks to us, signalling the near end of the concert (I couldn’t believe it was nearly over, actually T_T) They sang, Thank You Bokutachi Kara Kimi E, and nearly everyone got a solo line. I started to flail in my seat when I heard Ryutaro sing XDDD I mean seriously, how often do we get to hear Ryutaro sing?!
I think it was during the encore when all of JUMP flew up to the second and third balconies. At first 7 was way on the other side, and BEST was the closest to us, so as BEST got closer, I started to scream out almost all their names. Hikaru turned around right when he got close, Takaki had his back to us the entire time, Daiki and Inoo were looking elsewhere, like at the third balcony, but Yabu was smiling at nearly everyone <33
Then they converged with 7 in the middle and stopped there for a while. The wires started to lower them down to the first balcony, so I thought 7 wasn’t actually coming over to us, but thankfully, the wires pulled them up to the second balcony again, and 7 started to come over.
Ryutaro was being cruel T_T I saw him waving at fans from the other side, but when he got to the side I was at, he stopped waving, even when he was looking at my general direction T__T I waving his uchiwa so hard too OTL And they got back to the ground and started to throw the balls, Ryutaro was being lazy and just throwing his balls at the fans on the first floor. Darn the expensive first floor seatsss T_______T
At one point, someone (Takaki?) threw his ball in our general direction, and we were all getting ready to catch it, but it bounced off the lights hanging above us and fell elsewhere T_T Some other random moments that I remember happening but I don’t remember when: Hikanoooo~ So either Hikaru or Inoo was standing on the first floor aisle, holding his arms out, and I see one of them run into the arm for a hug. Then, unexpectedly, Hikaru picks Inoo up, bridal style nonetheless and it was just such a great OTP moment XD Another point, Yamada was running towards the center of the stage (where Takaki was) and semi-glomped, sorta knee-ed the older boy for some odd reason. And I know I saw Ryutaro crash into Chinen while running across the stage too XDDDD And because BEST and 7 were fighting one another and I kept trying to find Ryutaro, I saw him run in to “punch” Daiki at one point LOL
And Ryutaro was getting his hair ruffled so much by Inoo (and Yabu at one point I think) it was so cuuuuute >w< Close to the end, when they were singing the encore, Inoo was over-ruffling his hair to the point Ryutaro finally whacked his hand off and randomly hugged himself, but it was just too cuute for me <333 Also, I think while they were singing Yuuki 100%, Keito and Ryutaro had their arms around each other’s shoulders, and started jumping up and down all happily, so that made me start bouncing in my seat for the first time all concert XDDD
What bothered me a lot throughout the whole concert was that in the row in front of me, there was these three Chinen fans whose uchiwa’s kept blocking my view, so I couldn’t see the stage (aka Ryutaro). I swear, I wanted to whack them at some points =-=
Finally, JUMP left the stage and the encore was over. Not like anyone was getting out of their seats though. The security staff had to usher us out of the hall XDDD So wanted Ryutaro’s attention (at least throw a wave or something!) and already planning to attend their (currently unannounced and nonexistent) fuyucon with Jen (if we can get the money) XD Whut can I say? JUMP in real life is addicting <3
