Yeah, it's ridiculous. I mean, the numbers don't really show you what needs to happen in order for Hillary to win (10 point leads in every other state left when four out of the six left are leaning Obama, over 70% of uncommitted superdels, etc.) I can't believe her campaign is willing to scorch the earth for the general election when she's soooo unlikely to lose anyway.

Also, man, fuck Hillary's supporters. 13% of her supporters won't vote for Obama if he becomes the nominee and 10% would vote for McCain. Obama's supporters are, like, 7% and 4%. That's absolutely ridiculous. She should really give up and take one for the team, you know what i mean?

I can't really figure out what it's about here. The perception is that dems are conceited, and too far up their own asses..and she wants to run against popular vote because the superdelegates know politics better? yeah, way to play into that.

Dude, this is a cake walk for the Dems. Don't let the press convince you that there is some kind of story in this. As Obama would say, it's a manufactured issue.

This would be true if Hillary didn't have the most ridiculous negatives in polling with people calling themselves independents and with Repubs. I hope to god I'm wrong, but I think you're under-selling what a good candidate McCain is for the middle of the road and the begrudging right. He's kissed the right ass enough to where the socially conservatives are begrudgingly accepting him, and again, they motherfucking hate Hillary. They'd vote against her more than for him if it came to that. Still, the guy is a war hero and a hetero white male, you'd have to spend the entire year painting him as a Bush croney (which he is) for people to get it. They won't... It's grim in my eyes.

dont worry so much. obama has the nomination and there will be a big turnout for democrats. all the republicans who were going to vote anyway will vote for mccain but they wont get any extra turnout. SLEEP WELL.
