My Friday meeting

I had my Friday lunch with the event planner lady yesterday afternoon, and it went really, really well. She was impressed by my resume (imagine that!) and seems very open to the possibility of me working for her. She has an "intern" program which is unpaid, and I could fit that around my full-time work. However, she also needs a part-time assistant

Thanks. =) I called a work friend of mine this evening since she's listed as one of my references, and I've been keeping her up-to-date on what's going on. A couple of weeks back I asked her what she thought about me maybe moving into purchasing, since another assistant (Patti, you met her) went part time to focus on her acting career. She's all for it. It would sort of be a step down from product management, and they might not want me to move at all, but it's nice to have options. She needs another assistant, but she's sort of keeping the position open for me as long as she can -- just in case. ^.^
