i would travel all over the place too, meeting people, building relationships and learning from experience (my own and others). and i would probably surf. a lot.
p.s. i have a hard time liking sigur ros because i feel like i would just be jumping on the bandwagon, ya know? ill wait till the next indie band like that comes out so i can be one of the first to start liking them.
i definitely would not classify sigur ros as indie - first of all they have been around since before 'indie' and they're style is so far from indie, but i don't really care if i am on the bandwagon if there is a sigur ros bandwagon, i only heard of them from russ, their music actually affects my soul positively so i think i'll keep listening ;)
no need to get all defensive. my comment wasn't a knock on you, simply an explanation for why i cant relate to their spiritual value. by indie i didnt mean style, i meant it more like "just starting out"/independent. simply my view on the subject, and like i said, no knock to you or anyone else who loves sigur ros.
