Stringfish, GC*AC

I cannot find a Stringfish.
The guide says they appear Dec-Feb, 4p-9a, pond/river.
Is this accurate?
Where/When did you catch one?

Yes! They are extremely extremely rare. Freshwater, and once you find one you feel like they're a lot less rare! Their shadow is about the size of a Coelcanth.

All of that is correct though? They disappear this month :(

I haven't done it in a while...but that sounds about right. During the snow months.

An inside source tells me they're generally by the waterfall (read: only by the waterfall).

I find all of the ones I've caught on the top level of the waterfall swimming near the edge around 5pm. Don't even bother with the smaller shadows, you'll know when it's stringfish because it's shockingly large and moves around a lot. Good luck!
