I know this community only talks about AC on the GC, but there isn't a community I could find that talks about the upcoming AC on the Wii. I would've posted this on the AC: Wii thread on gamefaqs.com, but there are a few users over there that are kind of evil.

Anyway, to my point.

I myself haven't (yet) played The Sims for Wii, however I think that is a good theory. The colors and graphics would be a good match!

If anything, MySims looks to me like a western team's interpretation of Animal Crossing. Nintendo will almost certainly either use the GCN game as a basis or start over from scratch. Bear in mind Wii development is extremely similar to GCN development, so porting the GCN codebase is trivial.
