Happy St. Patty's day!!! Do people even know what today celebrates? I wonder sometimes. Do bad its on a friday cuz I cant have my corned beef. But since most irish catholics "forget" its a friday i might just as well have it....

the Archdioces said it was okay to have meat today in light of the holiday, they are going to make another day for abstaining from meat to make up for it.

the no eating meat dealie was initially so that people could take the money they would have spent on meat and given it to the hungry. So... its not really a matter of when you dont eat meat, its a matter of being charitable.
