The paczki. Not the dessert itself so much as the word and the fact that we pronounce it "poonch-key". Chicken or egg? Did someone say the word one day and get the response: "I've never heard that word before. How do you spell it?" I believe it's Polish which has almost as sensical a pronuniciation guide as Gaelic. ;)

We're America folks and we have a saying. English doesn't borrow from other languages. It mugs them in back alleys and loots the pockets looking for loose grammar. ... I seem to remember muttering this at you. Several times. Whilst reading something we were both supposed to be editing. ^_~;
