:D Your icons were sweet! I was going to do a mod's choice but the one I would have picked (#1) had already placed. :P

*blushes* Thanks! I've been trying to get out a lot of icons to help support the communities I'm a member of. I've made some much better ones using GIMP, but the program refuses to save my work to my computer once I'm done. *cries* I've tried everything, but it just won't do it. I'm hoping to get some good software next month, so we'll see how I can grow as an icon maker.

I really appreciate you being so good to me. You're always so complimentory of me, especially considering I'm a newbie icon maker. Thank you! :D

Hey, I remember when I first started making icons. Mine were total crap! Lol. Yours are awesome. Which program do you use? Personally I use PSP7, and it's possible that I might be able to upload the installation file somewhere, for you. It's a really great program and allows a lot of diversity in icons. :D

One thing I found really helped was when I discovered how versatile layers can be. If you're using a program that doesn't have them, it's tough, but if you use a problem that has them, it can be really fun and interesting to play with colours and blending and see what you can come up with. xD

I also recommend icon_tutorial. It's a really awesome way to discover new colouring/lighting/anything techniques for your icons. :D
