OMFG PETER DINKLAGE. There are not enough Emmys in the world for him. That scene with Oberyn was just fucking amazing, It actually made me cry.

The actor who played Oberyn was magnificent - how many of us wanted the show to deviate from the books and let him live?? I know I did.

Haven't watched the latest yet, I will probably this weekend.

I've read all the books, and one thing I have to say is JESUS H CHRIST WHERE THE HELL WAS THE EDITOR??? I think that whoever his publisher is, they were more interested in getting the books out on the shelves than giving them proper editorial attention. GRRM does love to go on and on, and I ended up skimming large portions of A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons.

HBO has done an amazing job with bringing it to the screen, although I wish it hadn't been "HBO'd" to add all the random, completely gratuitous sexytiems.

I really want to cosplay Brienne of Fucking Tarth at some point. I've got the height - and I know how to make costume armor. XD

I wonder about Lady S too. There have been statements saying that they're not pursuing that storyline, but who knows? They probably need to wait for GRRM to give them more to work with.

I half-watch it when hubby is watching it (I'm usually reading manga or something at the same time). Arya is my favourite character, I'm hoping she'll get to kick some major arse sometime soon!

Arya is in for some fun times this season............

Surprisingly (to me, at least) my favorite lady is Margaery Tyrell (followed closely by Brienne of Tarth). She's so sweet in her manipulations it's hard not to love her. Plus she's super cool about her hot gay brother and that gives her major bonus points in my book.
