Wow, I can't believe it's been a year since I last made a post on this account.  As far as I can tell looking at my friends page, it doesn't look like I'm the only one who isn't really around anymore. :(  I'd never delete any of my LJ accounts though, but I guess I need to make a better effort to sign in every now and then so I don't get axed for

Congrats on the new job, and quitting smoking!

I rarely post on my LJ anymore either, mainly because none of my LJ friends seem to be around anymore :( I still check LJ every day though, just in case ^_^

I do like that I now get an email telling me when someone has posted for the first time in a while. It gives me a reason to make it a point to check in.

I'd never delete my Lj either and part of me cringes each time I see a friend do so. Too many years of memories here for me to do that. ^_^

It makes me sad too, especially when it's also a journal that had fics I really loved. But mostly I just miss some of the conversations that I loved going back to read but are now gone forever. :(
