I haven't seen this series so I'm sorry in advance for my vote. I personally could see Maya, Rei, and Shinji, but despite me going with the latter I think that none of them are a perfect mix of your introverted and extroverted personality :) I think that the INFP type fits Shinji pretty well from what I'm reading... But I think he really fits your positive traits in particular! I think others may see him the same way as you when they first meet you (very shy and almost ant-social) but I think that when they get to know Shinji they probably see him as a cutie who's a bit naive/clueless but strong and honest as well! I could also see plenty of Shinji in your Are you more... section since he seems like a realistic idealist as well as someone who's cautious but impulsive at emotional moments, more trusting, calm with hyper moments, a follower, and the like! :)
Ah,t his was a bit harder to vote on for you since I could see a few different characters fitting certain aspects of your application and not necessarily fitting other parts (and it's been awhile since I've watched the series, so I kind of needed to refresh myself on it a little bit). I really do like the Rei and Shinji votes you've gotten out of all of the characters, and I could see some Maya and Yui too...overall, I think I might be leaning slightly more towards Shinji. Shinji is very much a shy character in a lot of ways, and he can at times appear almost anti-social to some (I remember that kind of being the impression he gave his classmates when they first met). But once he becomes more comfortable around someone, he can become a bit more friendly and somewhat open with them (as can also be seen in his later interactions with a few of his closer classmates). He's very sensitive and can't stand seeing others in pain (as that's even one of the things that can bring him out of his more fearful moments at times in the series
