What was the first song you ever heard by 2?
"Cube."  It got me hooked on Japanese music.
What is your favorite album of 6?
Well, they don't have albums, they've got maxi singles.  I had almost all three of them (they released a fourth, I hear), and I have to say, I like Pumpkins Scream In The Dead Of Night most, although they're all good.
What is your favorite lyric of 9?
I personally love the lyrics in "Stitches."  My favorite part is "Oh precious you know / this hate of mine exploded / I'm so deranged you know / I will never be the same."
What is your favorite song by 7?
I like a lot of her songs, but the live version of "Beloved Wife" is just incredible.  She just packs a ton of emotion into the performance.
Is there a song of 11 that makes you sad?
"Purple Rain."  Then again, any Prince fan will tell you that.
What is your favorite song by 8?
I'd have to go with a tie between "Crossroads" and "Telling Stories."  The former has incredibly powerful lyrics and the latter is just a powerful piece that's talking about the necessity of lies.
What is your favorite song by 10?
"Coma White" is just an awesome song with an awesome video.
What is your favorite album by 1?
i haven't been able to listen to all of MACABRE yet, but of the stuff they do have, I'd have to say I like GAUZE the most.  Kyo's voice is simply stunning at times, Shinya wrote some of the best musical pieces in their entire career, Die and Kaoru make their guitars positively sing, and Toshiya throws out some of the best bass work I've ever heard.
How did you get into 5?
My parents constantly listened to them.  I grew up with The Beatles and I'll probably die with them.
What is your favorite song by 9?
"Stitches," "Dissention," "Platinum," "Fiction (Dreams In Digital)," and "Eva."
Who is your favorite band member in 12?
I don't have much of choice, do I?  But seriously, I love Hikki.  She's adorable.
What is a good memory concerning 4?
I remember watching a video of her with my sister back when we were kids.  She was just so happy and dancy and full of energy in that video.
Is there a song by 3 that makes you sad?
"Le Ciel" is pretty damned sad.  It's about the protagonist of Merveilles saying goodbye to his love for the final time.
What is your favorite song of 1?
I like almost all of their songs, but "akuro no oka" is my favorite.  The lyrics are beautiful, the video is beautiful, the band is just putting their all into it, and it sounds utterly spectacular live.  Die takes over with an acoustic guitar that just goes so perfectly with another one of Toshiya's wonderful, yet simple bass parts.
How did you become a fan of 3?
Brandon sent me a ton of stuff one night, including Gackt, Malice Mizer, L'Arc~en~Ciel, and Dir en grey.  Love at first listen.
Which of the 12 has influenced you the most?
I wouldn't say any of them has really influenced me, but all of them have opened me up to so much more music than I would've ever known about.  I'm indebted to all of them for adding a little beauty to the world.
Which artist makes you the most happy?
Utada Hikaru's songs are, when they're not incredibly sad, just bouncy and happy and make me want to dance and smile.
Which artist makes you the most sad?
Dir en grey by a long shot.  None of their songs have a happy ending.
Which artist makes the best dance music?
Cyndi Lauper, I think.  Not many of those artists have really decent dance songs, although Orgy and Utada Hikaru could be danced to.
Which artist have you liked the longest?
The Beatles.
Which artist have you liked the shortest?
I just got into Natalie Merchant.
Are there any artists you will still be listening to in 20 years?
Well, definitely The Beatles and Natalie Merchant.  Hell, probably all of them.
