That's my favourite Mac branch. Love the alfresco seating with lush greenery at the back of the restaurant. There's also a big slide for children and best of all, ample parking and I get to park free for the first hour.

Love her to bits. Clover is sociable with adults and plays with big people easily. However, she hollers when anyone unfamiliar tries to carry her. Took me three days of playing with her to get her to say, "yiyi carry!". And that was because she wanted to go upstairs. Like what the sis said, it was always a trade off.

Eslite has opened in Causeway Bay. My first impression of the bookstore wasn't great. It was noisy and smelled of oily French fries that wafted from restaurants above the three-storey branch. Moreover, Chinese and English titles were stacked together under the same subject headings. To me, it was rather inconvenient to search for good reads.

As age catches up with me, I start to develop an interest in otherwise known as aunties' brands - Geox, Aerosoles, Ecco and Clarks. They have better support and thicker soles than many brands that offer trendy styles.

Got clothes and clips from trusty H&M in HK as usual. I suspect it has something to do with the buyers as I've yet gotten anything from our local branch. Even mum got a nice warm shawl.

Shopping at the Espirit warehouse was fruitful. Besides cute graphic tees, I managed to find quite a few bottoms for C and me.

I'm quite excited about this upcoming trip to Hong Kong. Can't wait to cuddle Clover. The only bad thing about the trip is that the sis will only be back from NYC on Wed and the whole family will leave for Europe on Thursday. I only get to see the sis for less than 24 hours!

It's a small shopping centre but I'm beginning to enjoy it.

Took an afternoon off to supposedly window shop but ended up with nice surprises.

Laura Ashely is having a sale and I finally caved in to get a cotton Lycra dress that I first saw two months back. It's a mega saving of 30% and the sis loves the cut. Her approval gave me further confidence ( Read more... )

My Yeo has paid for tickets to fly Mum and I to see Jess and the niece in September. I'm thankful that the hubby loves my family besides loving me. He wanted to pay for Dad too but Mum's old man is too obsessed with his supervisory role at the moment, saying that workers will take the opportunity to be lazy if he's not around. Family and friends are rather fed up with me when I ask the same question over and over again, "Isn't it Loogi if I go Paris and not buy a designer bag?"

General answers range from "Don't be Kiasu", "ML, you have too many bags" to "The money should be used for better purpose since your jobs don't come with a bonus".
