Organ Donation

Australia has one of the lowest rates of organ donation in the western world. This is wrong. This needs improving. The waiting lists for organ transplants is growing exponentially each year whilst the donation rate remains pitiful.

Everyone has the potential to make the difference to 5 people's lives. Let's get with the program.

Bone marrow is critical globally, also. It's painful, but it can make such a difference in those waiting for transplants, and the registry is pitiful in most countries.

And contrary to popular opinion, marrow matches are not always available in families - so the greater population in the registry, the better the chances to save a life.
