I rarely really want CDs, but one evening a month or so ago I looked up CDs my brother had asked for for Christmas and found this band was something I really enjoyed. It ended up leading to a conversation with Mike (aka Starius to the interwebs) about indie music in which I learned a lot. The only one on the first list I have heard of is The Shins, but that's because I think they were on the Garden State soundtrack... I should get the dvd of that... I really liked it.
