Yeah, I get really self-conscious when I go to gyms, since most of the people there are in crazy good shape and are really good looking and I'm, well... not DX So the WII FIT is definitely good for that :3
I started kind of playing around with it in January, but I didn't really start doing it regularly until mid February. I'm actually really surprised by how well I have been doing lol. I've been eating a lot better too as of late, so I think that's helping out quite a bit ;)
I think the main part of it was that I actually started to exercise every day. I do about an hour a day and a couple of times a week I go for a jog around the lake in town (it's around a 3km distance)
I've also just been watching what I eat more closely. I'm not calorie counting or anything like that; I eat breakfast every day (usually oatmeal or toast with peanut butter), snack on apples or yogurt and eat lots of vegetables. Also, I don't deny myself when I get a craving; like if I feel like having chocolate, I do, just not a lot of it. That way I don't go without for a long time, then cave and eat like 4 chocolate bars at once XD
