I know what you mean. =/ I hate falling-outs like that between friends (I kinda almost had one with my best friend, but we made up), but at least you're the bigger person to apologize. ^__^
That quiz made me want to shoot myself through the foot. It's so stereotyped that it makes me ill. Fricken... not all Americans are Redneck Hillbilly Christian God-And-Government-Loving Idiots. GAH.
Anyway... It is extremely sad when people start to change. I lost many a friend during the whole transition through puberty, especially when PMS began. Sadly, she's probably the one who's changing, and as you get older, you'll begin to notice the difference between maturity and the whole getting-there change. Either way, it'll all turn out for the good.
I understand. I once did that, kind of. I had a friend from grade one who spazzed on me a few years ago about trying to steal guys she liked just 'cause I was talking to them. That was like the second or third guy she accused me of (and she did it a couple times with each guy) so I stopped talking to her. I really didn't like her to begin with, and now that I felt she didn't trust me, I used it as a scape goat or whatever the hell it's called. But she was really bitchy when we passed each other, like she'd purposely ram into my shoulder, or let doors close on me and stuff, and one day she was sitting all alone in art class, so I thought I'd be the bigger person and I started talking to her again. She's still the annoying person she always was, falling in "love" with all these guys, but usually they're guys I don't know/like so I stay clear.
I don't think you're wrong for doing that. I think it made you the better person and I admire that you did that ^-^

It is hard when friends change like that. Hopefully it'll work out eventually.
