So after giving it some though through a pretty stressful week, I've decided that this game has had its run. Getting a new head mod and set of moderators was always an option, even if it would be a lot of work for them, but the real reason that I was so reluctant to hand the game over is because, well, it was mine. It's weird to describe, but I've ( Read more... )

Even though I was probably the one who really raised the issue in the first place, I feel very sad about this. I have a lot of happy memories attached with TCG, and made a lot of friends. I know a lot of the old mods and players feel the same way.

May I make a suggestion? Since a lot of us were connected solely through TCG, maybe we could have a final friending meme? :) I'd be willing to organize and post it?

i think i would have come to the decision with the same reason as you if i was in your position, tbh, so i totally understand. it wouldnt be easy for me to just hand off something youve put so much effort into to someone else. i think i would have been more surprised if it just got handed off to someone new.

that being said, i like the idea of a final friending meme. this was fun while it lasted and thanks for creating it.

Huh. Really I can't think of much to say. I'll definitely miss thing and am considering starting my own.

Dunno if I should advertise or not but seriously, anyone who's up for working on a new TCG, contact me.

Farewell, Anime LJ TCG. It's been fun. You were the reason I got an LJ account.

I'll get to that friend meme maybe when I can get on from a legit PC.

Thank you for sticking with it as long as you did! What with the amount of work and everything, it's a surprise you didn't actually get fed up with it sooner. ;; It's been fun, though. I'm glad I joined!

also, American comics yessss. I've no idea what your tastes are, but I totally recommend Fables, Transmetropolitan, and Y:The Last Man, if you haven't already read them. 8)

I've read all three, though Y: The Last Man only recently, haha. But Vertigo is amazing and I love them *_*

But I'm more into cape comics, somewhat oddly. I just adore a lot of DC's characters so I can put up with the "lol what" factor of some of their plots...

Excellent! I think Vertigo might be my favorite American publishing company, they do so many amazing series *A* Y was so good, oh man, but 355. ;o;

And that totally makes sense! I need to go back and reread all of Green Lantern.. I'm in the middle or reading Batman: War Games right now, I'm so excited. 8)

8( sob whyyyyy

Yeah, I just decided I want to catch up with the Blackest Night stuff, so I'm...sort of trying? I got distracted by reading the current run of Wonder Woman, which is excellent, surprisingly. She usually is the neglected one of the trinity. But War Games is reaaaaally good. Have you read the Arkham special, Arkham Reborn, and that was a good read. Of course, I love anything about Arkham itself, since I love all the Batvillains. Oh, and Gotham City Sirens is really good too, if you want something about the batvillains that's running right now, haha.

Are you are a part of comicchat and comicunity? I get a lot of good recommendations and downloads at those communities.

I'm sad to see this TCG close, but thanks again for the great run. You certainly made your mark in the TCG world and brought in a lot of new players!
