No battle post this week, but don't forget about all the fun that is happening this coming Sunday:
anime_showdown will be wrapping up its first year December 30, 2007. To celebrate our birthday, we're going to be pulling out the big guns. To go along with this battle, lias and I are going to be sponsoring an anime_showdown raffle.
Rules:
1) Only residents of the US and Canada are eligible. Sorry guys, but shipping internationally gets expensive.
2) The winners will be chosen from the people who participate/leave comments on the Birthday Battle Post (Dec 30th). We aren't going to force anyone to participate more than they want to, but at least make it intelligent sounding. Trolls, flames, and otherwise obnoxious people will have their posts deleted and banned from the raffle (and possibly the community, given the offense).
3) Winners will be contacted January 6, when the polls are closed, and asked to provide an address we can ship the prize to.
4) If a winner declines a prize, they will not be eligible for a different one.
5) If a winner cannot be contacted, or does not respond within a week of the notification (Jan. 13), then a new winner will be chosen.

Two people will be awarded with one of the following artbooks (depending on how they vote):
Runner Ups:
Two people will be awarded a wallscroll of their choosing (depending on how they vote) from the following choices:
One Piece // Naruto
Mods Choice:
Selected members who have a high participation in battle commentary, and did not win any of the main prizes, will be awarded the chance to come up with an anime_showdown battle, to be posted during the months of January and/or February.
The Fine Print:
lias and scottishfae reserve the rights to change the rules or prizes at any time. The raffle will run from 12.00am CST, December 30, 2007 to 12.00am CST, January 6, 2008. All winners will be contacted on January 6th. Winners are given until 12.00am CST January 14, 2008 to reply to notification. No personal information will be given in a public arena, and once the prize is shipped, all personal information will be deleted. You must be 13 or older, or have parental permission, to claim a prize.
