Being awake at 5 in the morning makes me think...

...even though I hate mornings.

So here I am reading everyone's resolutions and year in review, and I begin to think about my own version of 2005. I read waywardstar 's post and I think how completely lost in contrast that particular year had been for me. In high school, I knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to be an archeologist, and I would do so no matter ( Read more... )

You don't have to apologize for talking about how you feel XD. It's incredibly therapeutic to lay your emotions out on the table like that, and it might even help for me to say that I understand. And for situations where I can't sympathize, such as a close friend being very ill, I can at least say that I'm here to support you whenever you need it, right?
When we get back, let's study Japanese together! We'll be ready for Tsuda because we've both resolved not to give up!

Wish I lived on campus. It would be so much easier. But yes, we must work hard together! And we'll face Japan together for better or worse because our destinies lie in Japan. I did not fill out all the paperwork for Tsuda in vain... I will go!!! WE will go! And we'll be able to freak out together (if that is the case). It will be great because I say so.

Thanks for the support on everything!! And hopefully the technology will get better and my friend will get better too. It just makes me randomly sad, so I might have the weird mood swings when you see me next. LOL. As if I wasn't already crazy this past semester as it is.

Wow, that was interesting.

You will do fine Amanda, whether you decide to stick with Asian studies or not. It's a great opportunity to go to Japan though, and I think you'll do great because it's your passion afterall.

That really stinks about Bryan :(. Poor guy.

Isn't this my longest post ever? Don't I sound random and crazy? Anyway, thank you for the support. You are right, even if I decide against Asian Studies in the future, things will probably pan out. Hopefully going to Japan will just reinforce my love.

I'll be sure to update about Bryan. You know how good a friends he and I are, so I know you understand.

BTW, let me know when you are off work. I need to get your Christmas present to you ^_^.
