A Midsummer Night's Dream - Shakespeare
Why? I really liked reading the play in 7th grade, and felt that I should own it.
The Complete Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm
Why? Research! I should know about the stories that influenced so much, shouldn't I? And I totally didn't squee when I learned that the Brothers Grimm were German, and I don't imagine them as Germany and Prussia.

Why? Never hurts to have books about the basics. Since I'm not taking it in class anymore, I think I should really focus on hammering the language into my head. Also, I freaking love the language. XD;

Why? I liked Edgar Allen Poe in high school. Why not read some of his stuff again?
The Tao of Pooh - Benjamin Hoff
Why? IT WAS THERE. And mentioned in a fanfic I once read. And I took a peek and thought it might be an interesting little book.
A Dictionary of Superstitions
Why? RESEARCH! Research, research, research...not looking for much in particular, just thought it'd come in handy.
The Death of Ivan Ilych and Other Stories - Leo Tolstoy
Why? I keep hearing about how good he is, from old teachers who write to fanfics that have the characters be big readers. I figured, alright, and I can cross him off my list once I read it. And he's Russian.
