Iraq has done something they have never done. They are the Asian Cup champions. Congrats to them and their country. The final score was 1-0. With this win they are automaticlly in the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup with world champions Italy, CONCACAF champions USA, and Copa America champ Brazil.

I know this isn't America soccer related but it soccer news none-the-less. In the Asian Cup Saudi Arabia and Iraq are the final two teams standing. I think in this time of war for the Iraq people this is a good thing for them.
