Holiday baking
So, after several years of wasting money buying a gingerbread house kit and failing to actually make any use of them, my husband and I decided to actually have more fun making them from scratch: baking the gingerbread and cutting it into the size/shapes we want. And we've managed to make it through one tester.
(Sorry aobut the size, the digital camera needs new batteries. These were taken from my cell phone.)
We had fun picking out what candies to use for decorations. Not everything was used on the test house.
Notice how the pieces don't quite line up? It's best to measure everything out before you back. ^^, and to have a good idea of measurements. Learned that the hard way. But it was still fun, and very tasty!
