Chapter Three

The days that followed turned into weeks as Leeteuk got to know Hankyung and Heechul a bit better. He found out that Hankyung had come from China and had stayed with Heechul for a while before the two of them had left to open the bar. However, Leeteuk never really found out about their families, only knowing that Heechul had two younger brothers. When Leeteuk had asked about their families, Heechul had immediately and bluntly changed the subject, signalling to Leeteuk that it was a dangerous topic to talk about.

In the days that passed, Leeteuk let himself relax, believing that they would be safe from their grandfather. The second day of using Heechul’s hospitality, his cousins had bounded into his room with happiness shining in their eyes. Seeing that all were well fed and healthy, Leeteuk couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that he had done the right thing of leaving the mansion.

Leeteuk lay back onto his pillow and stared at the darkened ceiling of the room. His eyebrows furrowed as he remembered how quiet Donghae was whenever he visited with Sungmin and Ryeowook. A few days ago, Leeteuk had tried to approach Donghae without the others knowing or worrying. He remembered the fake smile that Donghae had put on his face as he ran off to his cousins. Leeteuk remembered feeling sad and hurt that Donghae didn’t seem to trust him anymore.

Turning over in his bed, Leeteuk tried to think of anything that may help him to solve the mystery. What he did know was that they were treated well, fed generously and never seemed to get bored of their new life.

He remembered the shock of his dongsaengs faces when he told them that he had changed his name to Leeteuk and his desire to be called that from now on. At first his dongsaengs had protested and wanted to change their own names as well but was objected by Leeteuk.

“You don’t need to change your name. He wouldn’t gain anything by finding you.”

Ryeowook looked directly in Leeteuk’s eyes. “Why is he so keen on just hurting you?”

Leeteuk stared at the faces of his dongsaengs and turned away. “It doesn’t matter. What matters is that he won’t hurt us anymore.” After saying this, Leeteuk leant over and hugged everyone in fear that they would see his hurt expression.

Leeteuk closed his eyes and put his head under his pillow, trying to block out the memories of his past. His grandfather’s sneering face and cruel voice crept into Leeteuk’s conscious despite these actions. Abruptly, he sat up and reached over to the glass of water on his nightstand. Finding that both the glass and pitcher was empty, Leeteuk groaned and reluctantly left the warmth of his bed to get water.

Since the place he was at was fairly large, the room he stayed in was on the top floor of the two-storey building but unfortunately, the bathroom and kitchen was on the bottom floor. Stairs creaked under his weight and echoed throughout the night as he made his way to the kitchen. Leeteuk cringed and hoped his wounds wouldn’t reopen again.

Once a week, the bar that Heechul and Hankyung ran would be closed and what would usually be loud music, was replaced but eerie stillness of the night. It was nights like those that made it hard for Leeteuk to sleep since the music would usually lull him to sleep. He had asked Heechul numerous amounts of time what an okama bar was but Hankyung had always interrupted them before he got an answer.

Reaching the kitchen floor, he refilled his pitcher full of water and turned to go back upstairs. Leeteuk paused and looked at the door that was at the opposite side of the kitchen. Just as he was about to venture to the front of the building where the main bar was, noises distracted his curiosity to something else.

Leeteuk’s eyebrows furrowed as he followed the sound to the bathroom. Knowing how dangerous the district they were in, from several warnings of murders and kidnappings from Heechul, Leeteuk slammed the bathroom door open, thinking that it was burglar. It hadn’t crossed his mind that a burglar wouldn’t pilfer from a bathroom and that a pitcher of water wouldn’t be a useful weapon.

Leeteuk’s eyes widened in shock as the grip on the pitcher of water loosened, making the water and the pitcher to collide with the tiled floor.

Heechul was on a fours, fully clothed, while Hankyung and another man Leeteuk had never seen were tied to the towel railings with blindfolds over their eyes and their tongues in each other’s mouth with saliva rolling down their chins. Hankyung had his pajama top discarded some distance away while the other man had his white pressed shirt torn open. Buttons and a suit jacket littered the white tiles along with a briefcase and a belt.

Leeteuk thought that if he just walked into two guys kissing, it wouldn’t have had been such a shock, but with Heechul there, it just made Leeteuk freeze. It seemed that Heechul had pulled down both men’s pants, expensive fabric or cheap cotton, with their underwear, and decided to make use of his hands and mouth.

Other than the gasping and the panting from the two males tied to the metal pole, slurping and licking noises reached Leeteuk’s ears. Heechul was in between the unknown man’s legs with his mouth ungulfed over his cock while his right hand had stretched out to service Hankyung’s now weeping member.

Hearing the water splash over the floor, Heechul ran his nail over the head of Hankyung’s cock, which caused whimpers to come from the Chinese man’s throat, and also ran his tongue alone the other man’s slit and licked some precum before looking lazily at the source of the noise. With their senses filled with lust, the two tied up males continued their activities but did whine out when they felt Heechul stop his movements.

Leeteuk let out a squeak when he saw Heechul pull at both cocks before untying the two males. Immediately, the two male’s hands latched onto each other’s body, fingers and nails roaming around each other’s body with their members grinding against each other.

Seeing that Leeteuk was just staring at the scene before him, Heechul merely smirked and spoke out in irritation. “How old are you? Eight? Haven't you seen people have sex?”

Moving past the frozen boy, Heechul made his way through the cold building to the kitchen for some water to cool himself off. He was mildly irritatied that he was interrupted since he could only do those activities with his two lover’s once a week. Knowing this, Heechul sighed softly and poured some water, knowing that it was time for Leeteuk to get some information.

Eventually, Leeteuk had snapped out of his frozen state, closed the bathroom door for the sake of privacy and followed Heechul to the kitchen. Accepting the water from Heechul, Leeteuk spoke up. “I’m twenty-four.”

Heechul’s eyebrows shot up. “Really? You’re the same age as me. What date?”

“July first.” Leeteuk mentally enjoyed the feeling of the cold-water slide down his dry throat.

“Wow, I must say I’m surprised. You’re older than me and to reach that age and still be surprised is uncommon for these times.”

Leeteuk bent his head down guiltily since he hadn’t told Heechul or Hankyung about the conditions he lived in for the past ten years. Because of this, Heechul didn’t understand or know how Leeteuk had come by those injuries on his body or why Leeteuk and his cousins had an aura of innocence around them.

Heechul looked at Leeteuk lower his head and couldn’t help but feel jealousy or anger towards the older man. To get by society and not be bothered by their discrimination or their cruel comments and still have their pure nature was something Heechul always desired. Heechul was always criticised due to his feminine looks and eventually, it made him bitter enough to run away.

After moments of silence, Heechul opened his mouth to explain to Leeteuk what he saw. “I used to live in the upper parts of Seoul with my brother’s in this amazingly posh mansion. I could’ve had anything I wanted, whenever I wanted. To say the least, I was filthy rich.” Seeing Leeteuk’s shocked face, Heechul continued. “In society, homosexuality is looked down upon, especially if families who hold the most power in Seoul had a son who was gay. As a result, my brothers and I was bound by rules and were taught for long hours a day how to behave and act. It was tiring.”

Leeteuk leaned back on the counter and observed Heechul. He understood how hard it was to abide by rules and the consequences if the rules were broken. Because of this, Leeteuk empathised with Heechul.

The younger boy sighed as a small smile crept on his face. “I met Hankyung one day, lying in the street. It was raining heavily that day and so it looked like he was dead. I was still young and didn’t know any better so I took him home and nursed him back to health. Eventually, I started to love everything about him. His face, his smile and even his really bad accented Korean. I love everything about him. Knowing that I would never be able to bring my family a heir or carry out my family duties, I ran away from home with Hankyung. Ever since then, I’ve been living in this district.”

Leeteuk had never seen so much love being expressed on Heechul’s face. He felt his heart tug, knowing that even though he disappointed his family, Heechul had found love, something that Leeteuk was envious of. “Do you keep in contact with your family though?”

Letting out a chuckle, Heechul grinned. “I had contacted them a few years ago when I had a stable life again. My parents had actually known what was happening to me and so, they told everyone that I had gone travelling to keep their reputation. Sometimes they would contact me when needed but I usually don’t reply unless it benefits Hankyung or myself.”

“Don’t you miss your brothers?” asked Leeteuk, knowing how much more stronger the bond between siblings and children of the same age range was compared to the bond with parents.

“I found out that one of them had had enough of his life being controlled and so he enlisted in the army. My youngest brother is currently managing the family business and I assume that he will inherit the family title. I sometimes feel bad for leaving him but I don’t dwell on it too much since I barely get by myself.” Heechul nodded as if trying to convince himself that he did the right thing to leave his brothers.

After a moment of silence, a thought occurred to Leeteuk. “Hey wait a minute. If you’re in love with Hankyung, who’s the other guy?” Leeteuk pointed in the direction of the bathroom, which still emitted groans through the door.

From those words, Heechul smiled proudly. “His name’s Siwon. Most people love only one person but for some reason, I love them both equally. I wouldn’t part with either of them and I don’t prefer one to the other. I’m pretty sure that’s how Siwon and Hankyung feel as well.”

Sadness started to fill Leeteuk’s heart as he heard Heechul speak. Leeteuk wondered once more whether he or his dongsaengs would be able to experience some of the love that Heechul obtained. He mentally shook his head, determined that they would all find happiness in the cruel world they were in.

“Well, it’s late and you’re body is still weak. You should go back to sleep.” Heechul nudged Leeteuk towards the stairs with stares of lust being darted towards the bathroom door.

“W-Wait! Tell me what an okama bar is!” Leeteuk tried to struggle but his weak body seemed to obey Heechul’s actions rather than his own.

“You’ll have to find that out yourself some other time! Good night!” With that, Heechul gave one final push before darting and flinging the bathroom door open.

Standing at the top of the flight of the stairs, Leeteuk couldn’t help but remain standing while listening to the sounds coming from downstairs. Nodding to himself, he set his goal to finding the perfect girl to share happiness with along with love. Leeteuk blushed slightly at the thought and moved to his bedroom, slightly embarrassed that he had continued to listen to the trio’s activities as Heechul’s moans joined the noise.

-

Lying in bed once more, Leeteuk decided that tonight would be the night where he would find out what an okama bar was. It had been two days since finding out Heechul’s sexuality and found that it was time to find out what kind of bar he ran.

Gently moving down the stairs like he did two nights previously, music vibrated off the walls of the staircase as he heard faint chatter from the front of the building. Peaking around the corner into the kitchen, Leeteuk saw that Hankyung was moving about, making various drinks and snacks with Siwon helping him.

Leeteuk had been formally introduced to Siwon yesterday and found him to be quite the gentleman. He also found out that Siwon works in the business area of Seoul and so is only able to visit Hankyung and Heechul once or twice a week.

Leeteuk hid himself in the shadows and tried to hear the conversation that the pair was having.

“Why did Heechul take Leeteuk in?” asked Siwon as he roughly shook the bottle of blue liquid.

“I wondered that for a while too but Heechul told me once that he saw all of us in Leeteuk. He sees the innocence we once had in him, and the sadness we experienced in him. He also sees how broken he is and feels responsible to help him.” Hankyung paused in his actions with a saddened expression as he thought about Heechul.

Pouring the blue liquid into a tall glass with ice before placing it aside, Siwon leaned on the counter, pensive. “I suppose Heechul is still guilty about abandoning his brothers and sees abandonment in Leeteuk.” Siwon sighed sadly. “Heechullie…”

Just as he said this, Heechul slammed the connecting door of the kitchen open and hit both of the males over the head with a feathery fan. “Yah, yah, yah!! Less talking and more working! It’s bad enough that one of the guys didn’t come to work!”

“Heechullie, I could help serve on the floor-” The moment Siwon said this; Heechul pinned him to the counter and ran his tongue over his face.

“And why would I want to share you to those beasts outside?” Heechul smirked and Hankyung laughed as he pushed a plate of snacks to Heechul, ready to be served.

Seeing Heechul distracted with getting to the tray of snacks, Siwon moved a hand up Heechul’s thigh with feathery touches, causing Heechul to bend over the counter and moan out.

Hankyung smirked at Siwon’s actions and bent to whisper in Heechul’s ear. “Heechul-ah, why would we want to share you then?”

Heechul snapped out of his lustful faze and slipped out of the pair’s clutches. “It doesn’t matter about what you want since I run this place. I got to make ends meet if we are to get by still.”

Sighing, Hankyung and Siwon nodded and resumed their duties, not fazed at all by their previous activities. Heechul smiled triumphantly and opened the fridge to get a quick drink but a movement from the corner of his eye caught his attention.

Seeing the intimate scene play before him, Leeteuk had decided to leave the trio to their privacy and to stealthily make his way back upstairs. Unfortunately, he was caught and was punished with a cracker flying at his head.

“Yah! Where do you think you’re going?” Heechul leant on the open fridge door, basking in the coldness of it.

“I-I was just visiting the bathroom…I’ll be going now!” Heechul quickly grabbed Leeteuk’s collar, preventing him from running.

“You sly little pervert, I bet you were watching everything secret and got a happy feeling, aye?”

Leeteuk blushed and tried to cover his face with his hands. “No! Why would I want to do anything like that? I just wanted to see what sort of bar you ran!!” Leeteuk held up his hands in defence as Heechul’s grip on his collar loosened.

“Oh, is that it?” Heechul looked at Leeteuk bored and slammed the fridge door close to reveal his outfit.

Leeteuk blinked and wondered why he didn’t notice what Heechul was wearing and mentally slapped himself for not seeing. Heechul lifted his leg up and propped it on the bench across from him and leaned back against the fridge, whilst tilting his head back to create a sexy aura.

Heechul wore a full-length dress that clung to his slim figure with two slits on the sides of the dress running up to his waist. Under the dress, he wore white lingerie styled pantyhose that were mid-thigh length and thick white stiletto heels, which made his legs seem like they ran forever. The dress itself was sleeveless with a collar that let a black tie hang lazily off Heechul’s neck. Heechul also had a frilly nurse-styled headband and had styled his hair so that it would flick outwards.

After Leeteuk took a generous amount of time of taking in the image of Heechul in a nurse’s costume, he still spoke out in confusion. “I still don’t know what an okama, let alone an okama bar, is.”

Sighing in irritation, Heechul grabbed Leeteuk’s wrist and pulled him over to the door and opened it slightly for him to see beyond. In front of them was a large room filled with tables and chairs with many males in business suits occupying said tables. Sitting with the males, and giving out drinks and food, were more effeminate males in different styled costumes but with the same theme of ‘nurse’.

Giggles and chatter alone with music met Leeteuk’s ears as he saw some waiter’s hands roam under the table, making some businessmen to throw their heads back. Leeteuk felt his head lighten as the he continued to inhale the musky scent that had drenched the room. Just as he was about to faint, Heechul quickly pulled him back into the kitchen.

“Businessmen come in with the intentions of having some fun and getting pleasured by people who know exactly what they want. The thing with females is that they think they know what the male wants but really, what males get is nowhere what they had really wanted. As a result, I made this bar where effeminate homosexual males would dress up and give them some fun, in case they’re having some sexuality crisis still.”

Leeteuk nodded dumbly since that was the last thing he expected Heechul to be running. “So…an okama bar is a bar where guys who are having a sexuality crisis some to have fun?”

Heechul lunged forward to smack Leeteuk but was restrained by his two lovers. “No! It’s a place where the staff is predominantly male, cross-dressing homosexuals! Why are you so innocent?! You won’t be able to survive in this world if you’re this naïve at this age!”

Heechul breathed deeply through his mouth and nose, knowing that what he said was out of line. Sometimes he would get frustrated at the older boy for not knowing just how harsh Seoul was at the moment and wanted to corrupt Leeteuk, yet protect him at the same time. However, Heechul knew that it was not his place to protect Leeteuk and that he would have to find his own knight in shining armour.

Sighing softly, he stared Leeteuk in the eye. “Sorry, that was out of line but you have to understand that you can’t be this way anymore. You don’t know how many people out there would love to get their hands on an innocent boy such as yourself. Just be careful when asking questions in this area or the wrong people might overhear you.” With that, Heechul took the tray of snacks and went back onto the floor to serve customers.

Laying a reassuring hand on Leeteuk, Siwon smiled at him. “Don’t mind him, Heechul just gets major mood swings during working hours. Sometimes he might sounds harsh, but he has good intentions.

Hankyung looked at the older boy seriously. “However, what Heechul said is true. Be careful, watch what you say and you’ll get by fine.”

Seeing that Leeteuk’s presence was dismissed, he slowly walked up the stairs to his bedroom whilst absorbing just what had happened. The information overwhelmed his mind, making him lie awake and stare at the ceiling blankly. There was only one good thing that Leeteuk could think of from the situation, which made the situation all the better.

He had ventured downstairs to find out what an okama bar was and answers he got.

Well this took me forever to write cos there was so many interruptions!! But it's uber long to make up for my absence =)

Man, I get sooo wary when writing Heechul cos I'm always paranoid I'll write him too nice or too mean :O Yeah...this chapter was meant to be funny but no...it got all deep and I started to write about their past instead...^^;;

Anyways, I'm tired so I'm going to sleep now. I haven't really re-read it so there's going to be mistakes but if you see any that disrupts the flow and it just doesn't make sense, please tell me and I'll edit it tomorrow =D I didn't want you all to wait any more so I skipped the proof-reading...forgive me? I'm awake now and I've corrected some mistakes....yay me~

La-la-la who wants to guess who are Heechul's brothers? not like I'll tell you if you're correct though!
