I'm in con scramble mode because Otakon is next weekend and I'll be in St. Louis all week on business, so I can't do my work midweek at the absolute last minute like I usually do ( Read more... )

Try ripping the video footage and audio separately, and then encoding audio as a wave file rather than an MP3.

I'm with you there. I wish there was video editing software that worked on everything. But it doesn't exist. Or if it does it probably costs more money then I can afford.

When I get ready for a show at a con I spend days just converting everything to the same format. And then more days editing everything together. And, usually the day before the con I test everything to make sure it plays. Because there's always one DVD that won't play or is missing the audio or the audio is out of sync.

I wish I could help you, but I'm not a Premiere user. I e-mail Jeff Tatarek when I have a Premiere problem.

Agreed, try VirtualDub, or one of the recent mods that does MPEG-2. Haven't had a sync problem with those.
