Ugh Future
So now that I KNOW I'm not graduating...it's time to figure out that elusive future. Or, well, I guess I was supposed to be doing that anyway. Now I have more time though to weigh my options. Or really...my fall back plan. I'm going to apply for JET. Why? Just freakin' because. I highly doubt grad school will happen at this point and I just want to

saraaaaaaa i am so sorry kishimoto is fail. :( but also you need not worry, i'll still be here all of next semester even after graduating; grad school doesn't start till next fall, and the research student thing wouldn't be till 2011 (OMGGGGG). but that is all presupposing i'd even be accepted anywhere.
RE research student thing: yeah i think they enroll you as a grad student and you're taking classes at a university but you're there for research rather than grad school, which, yeah, confuses me a bit but williams-sensei gave it the A-OK so i'm good with my non-knowledge.
alsooooo i had no idea you were wanting your own place so much / having roommate problems. i'm probably even more lazy than you, so i know how wanting to do stuff at your own pace is and then feeling bad because your own pace is slower than what you feel's expected of you.
buuuuut you're right: another semester gives you more time to work through stuff. i kind of wish i had that, but then i am also glad to be done with clemson.

Yeah, it's not that things are bad with the roommates really...they're just not good. At first I was totally cool but then the cat came up, then the puppy, I started doing yoga in the a.m. (which makes me wish i had a living room to do embarrassing things in)and now I can't help but notice what a big difference it makes having roommates you're totally comfortable with.
ah well, i'm glad you'll still be around. i'm actually not all that bummed out with the new development...after all...I was almost certain this would be the case anyway and now that it is I can just plan around it.
Also, I found out that application deadline for JET is in November, so I haven't missed it yet, but echan says that the last day for JLPT sign ups was Sept. 1st so I sort of fucked that over again : ( Wonder why Kishimoto didn't mention it? *shrug* alright, this comment is turning into another post. I'd better go shower and get on that stupid graph *grumble grumble*

yeah, i can totally see, uh, all of that. but i know what you mean about not being bummed having to stay the extra semester; that's exactly how i felt after i got past the anger at not being able to graduate on time last year, lol.
hmm, yeah i'm thinking the JLPT was around early december? you don't really need it for stuff though. at least i don't think you do. uhh...
