I plan on trying again soon. I hope to get it right in time for the twins birthday next month.

Bekah is going with a Japanese theme for their birthday and we wanted to serve sushi and won tons for the finger foods. Along with the sushi looking cake that my brother-in-law is making. He already did a trial run on the cake - looked WONDERFUL! I didn't get a picture of it. DUH!

Looks good, at least some did. Some tasted good, some didn't.

It was fun, and a little frustrating. Couldn't get them tightly rolled, and they're messy with rice stuck on the outside. But I think I'll get better with practice. At least I'm really hoping so!

Yup, first try. I had wanted to try again this weekend but just too many other things to do.

This coming weekend, I'm going over to a friend's place. Her Mom, who's Japanese, is going to show me what I'm doing wrong - or how to make the rolls tighter. Just hope she has patience with me! LOL!
