Bj woke me up just a while ago asking how many snakes play dead. I thought at first he was saying our snake was "dead" but then he said no, there's one outside PLAYING dead

Just a little tidbit for you. There are some eastern hognose snakes that are all black. They go through a juvenile and adult black phase.

Here is one in adult phase flattening his neck like a cobra.
