My computer is le sad. Ever since I tried to put those USB 2.0 ports in...it has hated me. It is giving me weird errors, not letting me boot into Safe Mode, acting normally for about 1/2 hour and then shutting off, etc

Argh! That is the worst. Hopefully wiping everything out and starting fresh will fix the problem. But, it sucks that you have to go through all that trouble -- what a hassle.
