Up a tree

We had wild turkeys in our yard today.  One of them even got really ambitious and flew up into the tree to eat from the suet cake. O_o

Well, we don't normally get turkeys in the yard -- they don't like coming near the house, but there has been about 13" of snow and very low temperatures for awhile. I guess they were desperate enough to come to the feeder to find something to eat.

So very cool!! They are huge (and, apparently, very hungry. I can't believe that one flew into the tree). Awesome picture!!

Yeah, they are quite large. Is it bad that now I'm really craving turkey for dinner? ;)
