Wow! These landscapes are amazingly beautiful! It must have felt so relaxing being there and watching the waterfalls, smelling the lush greens all around, and seeing the lightening show. Sounds like you all had a blast! I'm very much an urban girl so any chance I get to see real nature is a treat. Although, I will admit, after a day or two, I get anxious and need asphalt, skyscrappers, and honking horns to feel myself again. It's weird! But the older I'm getting, the more I dig being in tranquil places like this for vacation. :)
As much as I appreciate nature, I'm definitely a fan of cities. I'm not sure if I would do well in a truly rural area for an extended period. I miss city amenities too much when I'm away from them. ^_^;
