also, can someone explain to me how to use openID to post to both DW and LJ? I just realized when Fandom Secrets decided to move that like half my friends list posts from DW and its crossposted to LJ, but I have no idea how to do that. I was only able to get as far as making an openID account on DW.

You don't need an openID to crosspost from DW to LJ. Just add your LJ account on that page I linked and fill the stuff out. Then when you make a DW post, it'll crosspost to LJ if you told it to do so automatically. Or you can check/uncheck a box at the bottom of your post that asks if you want to crosspost.

EDIT: Also, when crossposting, your icons will remain the same if you're using the same keywords on them.
