Animorphs "dream-cast" vid
Hi, everyone. I just joined this community after poking around for a few days -- lots of awesome stuff here. I never really experienced animorphs as a fandom, since it kind of pre-dated true fandom days, for me (I remember Book 16 (you know, the one with Jake morphing into a rhino on the cover?) feeling very true-to-life as far as Internet experiences went back then). So it's very cool to be able to revisit what's essentially one of my first fandoms ever and find that there is actually a great (and still active!) community of fans for this series.
As an offering, I bring you this fanvid I made, a montage of clips from various movies thrown together, using actors that come pretty close to my mental images of these characters. (Most of the shots I used have the actors being too old, but let's just say it's them circa Book 54...) Obviously, my cast isn't going to be everyone's cast, but I hope it comes close enough to feeling right for most/some of you guys. I'm not completely happy with the vid as a whole, tbh, so, I'm seriously thinking about trying again with a different approach. I'm open to song and actor suggestions. I will be happy if anyone can guess wtf is supposed to be going on at any random point in this vid, though!

I have a couple more fanarty recs and some... really ridiculous fannish rambling about the Avengers as an Animorphs parallel at at my journal, too, if you are interested...
