Today, while driving, I came across a car that was stopped in the middle of the road. It was in the left turn lane to a parking lot. A parking lot I was not alone in wanting to get into. So, when traffic cleared a bit, the cars behind the stranded on swerved around and went into the lot; I was one of those cars. Except, after I parked, I waled over

Maybe this will make you feel a little better - when women call emergency services, the operator tells us not to open our window or door to anyone, and to only crack it open a little to people who may be cops or tow truck guys. They like to freak us out and tell us every man approaching our broken down vehicle may be a potential predator. So there's a good chance she was just freaked out by this and it wasn't an insult to you personally, maybe, hopefully?
