Dude, convince me to get into DBZ. I was way into it back in my elementary days, but I need to relive it. I love Vegeta's love for his family omg.

You should, you should! I loved it when I was younger, but watching it again reignited my love in a big way - I actually love it more now than I did then. Plus, I'm able to see and appreciate the character development more.

If you don't want to sit through tons of filler, then you should start with Dragonball Kai - it get through the story faster, and the opening and endings are great. It only goes up to the end of the Cell Games arc, but you always just watch the Buu arc separately after.
