A really well-written allegory of manipulation and betrayal, and what a snake may seem when a mouse begins to dream before the truth at last arrives.

That the mouse survives to see another day means that the mouse is stronger than most.

With it came the desire to write something much larger, in this same vein. Something to help with real life past events.

It's certainly an easy thing to rationalize destructive behavior. But strength and wisdom are never found on happy days. Thanks for reading!

I was hooked from the first sentence. I loved the use of snake and rodent to represent a relationship gone wrong.
