Of course you're special! That's my New Orleans icon. I took that pic at the Acme Oyster House while in town for the HP convention years ago. The signs were set up just too perfect for me to pass up. It's one of my fave icons now.

It IS fun. And if gives me something to do with my hands. Not working can get monotonous, so this helps. I'm become quiet the crafty bitch.

YAY KIPPING. I've only read that word in books before. Um... things are going well with me. I'm working and looking for a job that pays a bit more. I'm also embracing being a writer for the rest of my life, which is kind of exciting. And actually planning for it is finally fun. So, that's been good!

Other than that, I'm looking forward to a holiday party my work place is throwing at this swanky hotel. I'm going to dress up for the first time in years. I already have a dress and it looks pretty awesome. I'M EXCITED, SHOULD BE FUN. Lastly, one of my friends is trying to set me up with an Asian man two years older than me. Which will be nice, since I want a cuddle person.

Embracing that sounds like a brilliant idea. I sometimes miss working, but to be honest, I've had so much more time for just... things... things that went to the wayside when I was working. But yes, I think it's wonderful to make a decision like that and just really allow yourself to feel happy.

Oooooh, I bet you're going to look gorgeous!!! Do take pictures, it will be fun! I will whistle and wolf-call from here! I dress up about once a year, maybe, and yes, it's always fun. As long as I can find shoes that aren't out to get me.
