Haiti auction and other stuff

Jan 21, 2010 13:49

Congrats (or condolences, depending on your pov and your opinion of me) to gaycrow for having the highest bid in my auction. In return for her assistance in helping the people of Haiti, I'm giving her a fic of at least 1000 words, no restrictions on pairing or rating. I'll do any little twisted thing her heart desires and attempt not to screw it up too ( Read more... )

Yay, I'm glad the kidlet is doing better! Maybe you'll get some much needed sleep soon.

Heh, I bore people to tears on my LJ all the time, I talk about the weather so much. Our snow's pretty much all melted away, only to be replaced by a lot of fog and drizzle. I really do have the most unexciting life ever.

Thanks, hon. And oh, I really really hope so. The last few nights have been much better and I've gotten naps after getting up to give him meds early, so that helps.

Fog and drizzle, yes. It's just really a blah day out there. I don't even want to open the curtains so I won't have to look at it. :P I'm ready for spring.

Yay, have fun writing that fic!

Glad kidlet's doing better. ♥

HAVE FUN TONIGHT!

Yes, it's raining here in LA, too. Whee.

I will, I'm sure! She wants Snarry, and it's been forever since I've written that, so it should be tons of fun.

Thanks dear. And I had a very good time. It was nice to get out of the house for a while and to catch up with everyone. I've been such a hermit of late.

Boooo! It's still raining here. I'm ready for spring. *grumbles* That stupid groundhog better not see his shadow or I'm going to hunt him down and eat him.

I'm really happy that my bid was successful. *happy dance* I'm really looking forward to seeing what you come up with. No pressure. ;D

Coughing up piles of yuck sounds yucky, but if it's a good thing, it's a good thing.

And I hope you enjoy(ed) your night off, and didn't fall asleep.

(Not to bore you to tears, but it's been hot as hades here. Cool change is attempting to take over, but hot again in the next few days. I'll swap a bit of that rain with you.)

Heeee! I'm excited about the fic. I've a few ideas I'm going to try out and I will likely be underway working on it next week.

It is yucky, but better out than in! It means the antibiotics are working too, so if he clears this stuff there's a greater chance that we'll escape a hospital visit.

I did enjoy my night off! Had a few glasses of wine and I was tired and a bit dragging, but I managed to have a nice time.

I'd LOVE to have some hot weather. I hate the cold and the shorter days. I always tell my husband we should live six months in Australia and escape this crap. I'd adore it if we really could. *sigh* And I'm more than happy to send the rain over there. My yard is so muddy, gah. It's just gross out there.

Aw, Hon, I'm so glad he's feeling better, even if you're run down. Me too. Run down. Blech. Do try to have fun tonight, but if you get too, Darling, please don't fight it too hard, yeah? You sound like you need your rest.

hugs & <3

Hi, sweetheart. Yes, I am run down. And yes, I had a bit of fun and did manage to get a nap today. We also finally got insurance approval for an oral antibiotic he needs, so that's a lot of stress off my shoulders. I've been fighting insurance tooth and nail for a week. I hope you are doing all right? Sorry to hear you're run down too. That's no fun at all.

*hugs and loves right back*
