I'm long overdue for an update, aren't I? Life sort of gets in the way sometimes, and I'm so easily distracted at the best of times, that time just slips away.
I am glad to see you and that your trip is getting better!
Being able to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit is the hardest conversion! A meter is about a yard (39 inches) a Kilogram is about 2 pounds, so half the # of kilos to get a rough pound estimate, and a gram is about the weight of a good sized paper clip (not the tiny ones, but not the huge plastic novelty ones).
I'm sorry you are homesick but you will be home before you know it!
Reading your recap has made me smile from ear to ear. :) :) :) Of course I've already babbled excitedly to the hubby and kids about all of it for two days now. (Those hours of those days that I've been awake, that is.) And today I got to babble to my mum. She was so glad we'd had such a fantastic time!
Still jetlagged. I got a good long night's sleep, but this morning it still felt like I was walking on a rocking ship's deck and I almost nodded off waiting for my mum while she had the acu needles in. I got word that Annanith has been trying to find her sea legs as well. ;) Got an hour's nap this afternoon and it's helped somewhat, I think.
I still feel like I left so much out. I try to tell people about it and it comes out a jumbled mass of rainbow colored verbal vomit, just a great big pile that they're left having to filter through. But I'm still too excited to get it all straight in my head, I think. :P Gage said he missed you, and he was sorry I was so sad the day you left, but that I shouldn't worry because we'd be going to see you in six or seven months. He sure does have a good perspective on things. :D
Oh, I BET! It's going to take a few days to get you feeling like yourself again. Rest lots. I thought about you this morning when I drank your strawberry green tea and had wasa with your brown cheese. Mmmmmmmm. I think you've converted me to eating breakfast.
Yay - I've been babbling away at work today telling everybody what a great time we had. Thank you for being so fantastic and making us feel so welcome:* I'll never ever forget this trip. Love you like sushi :*
Yes, I think we're going to. We will be getting tax money back then and should be able to afford it. Gage seems excited, but is wondering how he'll be able to understand everyone since they all speak Norwegian. I told him Roz and you would translate, and you might even tell him the truth about what people are saying. *giggles*

Oh, those are all good things to know!!! Thank you!!!! Maybe now I won't give people a vacant stare when they say those words to me. :P
I think being homesick is inevitable for me, but I have my family with me, so that goes a long way toward helping.
