Shalom..., was surfin through and saw your comment...

Just so you know, I've seen previews and it's subtitled. And the film is not anti-semetic. Mel was interviewed and he stated he was not anti-semetic.

The parts I saw had NOTHING in them that lends itself to the 'jews killed christ' premise. But people always 'twist' stuff for their own agenda...so I've muted out of most of the 'what I've heard' and going to see it for myself instead. It should be an interesting film. Shalom to you.

I post in a variety of communities, not usually about 'personal' stuff, I'd never write a REAL journal on the web,...whatever relates to my interest, focus, or social event on that specific day. Thanks for asking. Shalom

You can't change history. And yes, the Jews did kill Jesus, where are you getting your information from? But that's entirely irrelevant as the movie is not to persecute Jews for their heinous crime--crucifying Christ--that happened a long time ago, but simply to evangelize. So don't take the movie on a personal level because it's not meant to be taken that way.

who killed jesus who cares who killed millions of people under this pretext anishelach March 2 2004, 18:31:17 UTC
if anyone is to be ashamed, it is those "rightous christians" who killed millions of jews, those jews who "killed their god" and that is not much of a god if he can be killed by mortals.

do u believe he got up in 3 days, if indeed why did they kill jews for that? then i suppose that jesus didnt die in the first place..thats some son of god if he can be killed, why would someone even pray to him if u can kill him?

jesus died for your sins dont disapoint him

This movie doesn't concern the killing of Jews by "righteous christians", so I don't know why you decided to throw that in. I'm not trying to condemn Jews for killing Jesus, I'm only saying that the Jews did in fact crucify him--a known fact.

And God allowed the crucifixion of Christ because it was all part of his plan, otherwise people like me and you would die sinners. The Jews "killed" him and he died, but after that he resurrected as his body wasn't found in the tomb. But of course the Jews couldn't see Jesus for the Messiah because he didn't meet their "standards" (the Jews were expecting someone rich and powerful).

"Who cares who killed millions of people under this pretext". I'm not saying that the ones who killed people because of this are right, no one should kill another human being--that is wrong. But don't tell me that the Jews are "innocent" either, because they are not.

the killing of Jews by "righteous christians" i threw in because i am refering to the fact that christians complain and believe that "jews" killed their god-but again if he was reserected did he even die? plus jesus was a jew even if he were to come back to earth would he go into a church no he'd walk into a synogague, did he ever claim to be a god, that you should pray to him ( ... )
