There will be a Bon Odori Festival in Malaysia this month! *jumping excitedly!*
And because of that, last night I tried on my Yukata which I bought few months before. and believe me it is not that simple and easy as it looks like. It took me about 1 hour to get it almost done. *I don't know how many times I undo and redo it*
I bought a set of yukata which include the geta, koshihimo sash, obi and the yukata itself! Oh I almost forgot about the Kinchaku (Yukata Pouch)! Well the set came with a kinchaku but I did not want to take it because I have the exact same one but in a different color. So I didn't take the kinchaku and they gave me discount for it! *sadly I don't have any photo of that kinchaku*
I don't actually like the geta because my feet look weird wearing it.
How to choose your geta size.
No.1 GETA size is a little too big.
No.2 GETA size is just fit.
No.3 GETA size is the best, just nice and fit well.
For example:
Your shoe size is 25 - 25.5cm
Your foot size is 24cm-24.5cm
Your geta size is 23cm-24cm
and according to the 'How to chose your geta size' I am No. 3 but somehow I does look weird and I don't feel comfortable at all! I feel like stumbling every now and then but I just love the design! LOL *I'm not going to wear it to the festival because I'm afraid of stumbling in public*
Well last night, while I was trying it on, I keep on making mistake and somehow it does piss me off! *runs to cool of* The hardest part was to tie the obi into that butterfly shape and I keep on messing it up and in the end it does not look like a butterfly obi at all! *grrrrr* after a few alot attempts I somehow get it tied to almost a butterfly shape but it was all messy and ugly. I should've bought a pre-tied obi so that my life won't be miserable as it already has! *smack anis for being so baka headed!*
So now let's just enjoy my photos with the yukata on!! *too shy to publish own pictures*
iknowiamfat! *dies*
it's not neat enough! *fails*
see I told you! it's not nice!
*shy of my own picta*
*lol*
