WOW. Seriously impressed by how beautiful these are. I have a serious weak spot for descriptions of grass and sun and sky just like this, together with the intricate relationships of the people of Smallville.
I love that Ben and Jon are blood brothers, and they and Martha are so close, how they all share so many years together. The meteor shower one is definitely my favorite though, and the last line gave me serious chills. FANTASTIC work here. ♥
*clappyhands* Thank you! I don't know where the muse for these came from, but it's pretty awesome.
BTW, "Wish Upon a Falling Star" and "Left Behind" are DEFINITELY canon for LS and Heirs. "Blood Brothers" and "Under a Wide Blue Sky" may very well be, but Clark damn sure doesn't know about it if that's true!
Oh, wow, these were all fantastic! I'll have to admit that the Clark/Martha one made me tear up a little bit. Your descriptions are great and the characterizations are perfect. :)
I'm not sure I should be taking credit for these. It's almost like they were dropped into my head fully formed and all I had to do was type them up. That said, they were as much fun to write as they are to read.
Awwwww!!! *wibble* These are just so perfect, so gorgeous and bittersweet.
I was wonderfully surprised how faithful these seem to the time periods, all the social mores and whatnot that were in play, and the way the characters seemed to skirt those mores just enough to make the pairings work.
I think my favorite thing was the meteor shower, and the unspoken promise of things to come for them. ^_~
Thank you! I hope you realize that means a lot coming from you - your characterizations are always fantastic, and you're a lot more thorough at research than I am. Glad to know I could hit these out of the ballpark.
I love the meteor shower. It just landed in my head fully-formed, and I ran with it.
But thank goodness (for the first time in my life) for SMALLVILLE, because I had to desperately envision Jonathan and Martha as looking like John Schneider and Annette O'Toole instead of Glenn Ford and Phyliss Thaxter.
Funny thing is, I can see her as both. the younger 1970's Annette as Lana, and the older-but-still-hot 2000's Annette as a (younger) Martha Kent in flashback fics like these.

Annette O'Toole will always be Lana Lang for me, though. (Except when we write femslash.)
