Doesn't this photo look like a painting? And doesn't it just make you cold? Sometimes even I can't anticipate the result from keeping the shutter open, playing with light and deliberate movement of the camera. And it died too! I'm really missing taking photos :(

I am really relatively well! I love my new medication, lots more energy, little to no pain and all I have is a slight cough (normal for winter, especially with my damp place). I have such exciting news to share with you but can wait until I have settled into the semester and you are back on top. Hope things are going well for you and L. Thinking of her often.
