special relativity:
SUCKS

if a ship is moving away from the sun at 4/5c and the sun explodes at some time after that, what is the time in the frame of reference of the ship? What is the time in the frame of reference of the sun? Who the fuck cares?

there we go! sickkkk

is that the thing where if a car is moving at whatever speed and then they turn on the lights the lights are moving at the speed of light plus the speed of the car? or am I mixing up everything that this crazy man told me yesterday?

no, what you're describing is just vector addition.

im learning how to add vectors :) we just moved from geometrtic addition to algebraic addition.. sometimes we even subtract them, watch out now

my classes are really really easy so far... we'll see next semester

WOAH VECTOR SUBTRACTION?!

crazzzyyy..

apperently, at mudd they shell shock us with special relativity and quantam mechanics first semester and THEN we can learn what vectors and distance are.
