Those are tricksy. Might be easier since you kids are unemployed. I tried to get an economic hardship when I was making $25k/year, living on my own, uninsured, and had $100k in loans. And they said to go poke myself in the eye with a rusty garden rake. Or something along those lines.
and don't get me started on health insurance. it's like the holy grail around here- and i live in a hippie socialist state compared to the east coast the only young people i know who have it are getting it through their schools.
i contacted wachovia about this stuff once, and they suggested that i move my monthly due date. i was angry and baffled by their useless response...
also, i'm still able to pay, as long as i forgo meat and most produce to save the dollars. i didn't want to do the economic hardship thing unless i had to.. although it is a possibility for the future
