How can I stop people from buying me stuff I don't want. I went to babies r us with my sister in law to take pictures. She bought Megan a bib and socks with a cross on them for her baptism. I have socks, she doesn't need special ones with a cross that cost $5. I don't know how much the bib was. I don't want that junk! How can I get people to

Two words..."return it." Really...if someone buys you a "darling" outfit for the squirt...gush. "OH...WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS?"

Then take it back. Kid's stuff disappears for so many reasons from spills to falls...that if the glowing "wijimiwoo-woo" goes missing...nobody will notice. And if you start a precedent of not "unpackaging" gifts in front of the givers now...nobody will notice that you refuse to take "Tatoo Me Elmo" out of it's packaging to let the squirt play with it.

Keeping an up to date wish list on Amazon.com will help too.
