it's a big day. a good day, largely. i'm still tearing up a bit when i really think about it all. i don't really know how to express it other than to say that i'm proud that we did this. that we chose something new, different, and progressive. we aren't irredeemable.

i am, however, crushed about proposition 8.

I know, we've watched the speech at least 5 times and everytime i cry [the bit about the puppy! incredible] Prop 8 not getting through is fucking unbelivable. How can people be so closed minded - Even worse [well, the same?] is gay adoption being banned in.. some fucked up place. That pisses me the fuck off.
